03/06/2026: The food was delicious, and the people were friendly and very helpful – both the young woman serving and the owner. There was a lovely atmosphere among the guests, and it was easy to strike up a conversation.

05/04/2026: Lovely stay had at Murphy’s . We were down for a wedding close by and this hotel was perfect . Basic but clean and comfortable room . Lovely staff and nice friendly bar . We had breakfast included and have to say it was one of the best breakfasts we had in a very long time . It was cooked fresh to order and was of high quality ingredients. The owner came over for a chat when we were leaving and he was a super friendly man who was genuinely interested in us . If we are ever back down that way we will definitely be saying there again . Great price too .
