Castle Inn in Newcastle

Great food and friendly staff and locals

This is worth the trip from Dublin. True seafood gastro pub. Can recommend the chowder in particular.

Great food and service . Love the Dublin bay prawn scampi

Lovely pub and beer garden in the middle of Newcastle village. If you like fish then you won't get a better selection.

The gem of Newcastle! What a wonderful place. So cozy and unique. Definitely worthwhile visiting for any occasion, whether you're in for a pint to relax after beach walk or enjoy lunch/dinner. The beer selection is amazing. The service is stunning and staff very nice and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone. P.s. definitely try the chowder, it's amazing!

Just had dinner in the Castle Inn and wow 5 stars all the way. The food is incredibly good. We had the prawns pil pil & the goats cheese parcel to start and the fish & chips and tempura prawn for mains. Every single morsel on the plate was outstanding. New to the area and very happy to have been recommended this place. Service couldn’t have been any better. For Guinness drinkers it’s a short pull set up meaning fresh clean pints every time. Ten stars. ⭐️

Omg the smashed burger was Amazing! The place is like a Tardis. We sat out in the garden.

The food here is super. Delicious, good portions and the atmosphere is great. Mú sister and mum always get the chowder and I get the wings.

Couldn't have been more impressed with the food and service. Great food, great service, do yourself a favor and stop here.

Great restaurant with wonderful service and delicious food!
