01/01/2026: Stopped here for dinner on a Friday afternoon passing through the area. Loads of parking outside, friendly staff greet at the door, a lot of selections on the menu, great baby changing facilities and good tasting food.

20/11/2025: Had lunch. Chowder was watery Fish special on chorizo and bean in tomato base isn't nice. Why not keep it simple. I seems like a pretentious effort to be different for the sake of being different. Dinner cold apart from fish. Again why watery chowder instead of the expected normal creamy version. Maybe call this out on the menu. Offer what the majority will enjoy and not the few.

04/01/2026: Popped into here on 2nd January with family for lunch. Had the southern style chicken burger, which was outstanding. Thick juicy chicken breast with BBQ sauce, cheese, bacon and frizze onions, served with home made chips. Flavour was fantastic and the frizze onions added a nice bit of crunch. Washed down with a perfect pint of Guinness. Service was faultless and staff were friendly, polite and welcoming, will visit again.

04/01/2026: Food was absolutely delicious, beef was to die for, enjoyed every morsel. Service was friendly but professional and on an extremely busy evening, the staff handled everything in a calm, efficient manner. We live in Dublin but would find it hard to beat Everetts in terms of fine dining at such an affordable price. Thanks to all the team for making our evening so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back

23/12/2025: Looking for that Christmas pub vibes from the Hallmark movie? Head over to the O'Connor's! Stunning atmosphere (Christmas decor certainly adds to it, but still), fantastic service and delicious food! We stopped by for food and drinks after visiting Santa in Rathwood and loved it!

27/10/2025: 11/6/25: Great cafe and very welcoming and friendly staff too and where dogs are allowed at the rear under a sheltered roofed area; there are a few other large tables in the yard but these are not protected from the weather.

28/12/2025: A really wonderful spot in the cute town on Ballinasloe! We stopped here for a late lunch on our way to Galway and all loved our food, we got the grilled breast of chicken and the battered cod. The chicken was super juicy and well seasoned and plated beautifully! Our waitress was great, and the atmosphere was so cozy. 10/10!

20/12/2025: I dined here recently for lunch with some work colleagues. The waitress was very welcoming and had a lovely manner. I had duck spring rolls to start. They were beautifully hot and crispy on the outside with plenty of duck meat filling inside served with a salad garnish and hoisin sauce. I didn't leave a crumb! I had the steak sandwich for my mains and was delightfully surprised when the waitress asked how l would like it cooked, as l have found many eateries that do not offer this choice. It came out served exactly to my liking. The steak was served whole on a single piece of sourdough bread and with onions atop, house fries and homemade peppercorn sauce on the side. The meat cut like butter and was melt in the mouth delicious! My companions equally enjoyed their meals. The stir fries were finished with little touches of toasted sesame seeds and coriander.The fish in the fish and chips option was beautifully cooked with a lovely crispy batter. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back again.

06/01/2026: Quintessential Irish pub and eating place! The experience and atmosphere was perfect! We just wanted a Guinness and some food and this place was awesome! Very much a local feel which was also good. Close to the train stop so worth a ride out here for the experience!

30/12/2025: Must be one of the top gastro pubs in Dublin. Plenty of drinks selection in lounge and bar. Different food options to suit you and all tasty. Comfortable seating and great service.

29/12/2025: One of the best pubs in Kilkenny, without a doubt. I’m visiting the city and wanted to experience the best pubs around, and this place truly stands out. The atmosphere is great, but what really makes it special is the service. I was genuinely amazed by how smoothly and professionally everything is handled at the bar. A special shout-out to Adam, he is absolutely fantastic at what he doe, he truly elevates the entire experience. People like him are what make a place world-class. Cheers to Adam and the wonderful way he serves customers. Kudos to him! Attaching some of his skills. Love to visit this place again, just because of the service.
