04/05/2026: Beautiful place and lovely setting. Food was very good. Service could have been better, we got our starters before our drinks,soup presentation was poor wasnt cleaned,potato fondant was missing from my main (but when i asked i got it) we never got a jug of water on our table,tea spoon was missing with our tea. Simple things that can be fixed tho and we'll definitely be back. Great value aswel

23/05/2026: I went here with a friend for a takeaway coffee and I could not recommend it more! The atmosphere was cosy, the staff were friendly and the wait for our drinks was nonexistent! There are many options for people who do not drink coffee also, for example chai lattes, so there's something for everyone here.

06/06/2026: The staff were efficient with the drinks and food, the longest delay was trying to pay! If I could make one small change, it would be to oil the toilet doors. A few Euro on some WD40 would stop the squealing bag of cats each time you enter the toilets area.

07/05/2026: We've been in the Wild Goose a few times, we were in it this evening and i ordered the Roastbeef dinner ,i couldnt eat the roast beef it was grey ,tasted horrible, The servers were very apologising, was not their fault , Unfortunately their chef (very unpleasant) thought it was okay to serve someone such bad quality beef.

29/03/2026: Came here with a friend and our kids. Some of the staff was hostile and unfriendly, gave us a table and then said the table has to be back soon if we are just having drinks. After complaining, was told that the new policy is 30 mins for drinks and 1 hour if you're having food. Absolute disgrace, very unwelcoming especially when you're out for a cuppa with your mammy friends and little kids. It'll be one thing if we were finished drinking our coffees but my friend was still drinking hers and the waiter came over and said he needs the table and he can put her coffee into a takeaway cup, considering there was lots of empty tables it was a joke. Even the tables next to us were shocked by the fact we were asked to leave while only coming in, and told us to just stay and not worry about what was said. Unfortunately we were just so disappointed, at that stage just wanted to leave. Awful service! Editing after owner reply: Male waiter knows exactly what incident this was. Please look at cameras on that day, and see that the issue was raised on the way out the front door to the male waiter (think he is the supervisor) in the cafe and he clearly said it is the restaurant policy to have 30 mins for coffees and 1 hour for food, and didn't apologise, just said if we want we can make a complaint to the owner. A bit late when we were already told to leave and also had a small baby with us, very inconvenient and horrible situation to be in. I wouldn't mind if the coffees were actually drank but when the waiter tells you to put it into a takeaway cup and go it's a different story. Only the man next to us said to stay and drink them (he was a customer) we would have left earlier.

10/06/2026: Myself and 3 friends visited this cafe last Saturday morning. It's a beautiful cafe we had a lovely view but here is the problem we had they ask for payment before they served us that is fine. When one of my friends tried to use her card for the full amount in sterling the ladies card wouldn't work for some reason so the lady paid half by card and the remainder of the bill was paid for by cash. The cafe takes Euros and sterling being so close to Northern Ireland 🇮🇪 but the euro and sterling are not the same value and unfortunately my friend didn't get any change back from the cafe which she should have. Staff need to be made aware of the difference between the value of the euro and sterling by the owners of the cafe. So as a result of the confusion last Saturday the cafe may have made a little profit off the back of my friend which is unfortunate so my message to everyone who visits tanks and skinnys while it is a beautiful cafe and the food is so nice pay extra attention when you are paying for the bill sterling has a different value to the euro and to the management kindly inform your staff of this matter aswell. Thank you.

08/05/2026: Cozy, lovely pub and the best meal!

02/05/2026: We've been traveling around Ireland for two weeks, and this was the best meal and service we have had. The cottage pie is outstanding; wings are excellent; delicious pizzas. Excellent choice - a little far from Dingle Town but well worth it.

15/11/2025: I stayed here for 2 nights while doing a course at the nearby sauna Bosca Beatha. Very comfortable beds for a good night's sleep and the food is also amazing. I had the steak, venison, lamb and chicken wings. Everything was superb but the lamb & chicken wings would be my 2 favourites. Breakfast was lovely as well and it was a very reasonable price per night too. Thanks

11/11/2025: Stopped here for lunch after a drive through the Wicklow Mountains. The stove was burning whichfelt welcoming. Good selection for lunch and everything we had was well prepared and presented

03/06/2026: Hi, so let’s start with I own a pub in a neighbouring town. I have been here twice, this is a fantastic pub. The food and service would match anywhere.
