Sheedy's Hotel & Restaurant in Lisdoonvarna

A very nice little hotel. The owner is very accommodating and helpful in planning activities for the day. The ambiance is reminiscent of a manor house, complete with a fireplace and wingback chairs in the lobby. Overall, it's very lovingly furnished with great attention to detail. There's a nice pub with local live music a short walk away and a few dining options in town.

Booked a Burren walking tour with Martina this May to see the wild flowers and had a fantastic weekend trip - one of the most enjoyable in many years! The hotel is immaculate and comfortable and Martina is the perfect host - genuinely friendly and everything perfectly organised. However the highlight for us has to be the food - dinner on the evening we arrived was the best we have eaten in a long time and the breakfasts keep us going all day! Martina even had a lovely packed lunch ready for us to take on our walk. Our walk was with Shane Connolly who not only has amazing depth of knowledge of everything about the Burren and it's history and nature but was also great fun along the way. Can't recommend this experience and Sheedy's as a base highly enough - genuine five stars all the way!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and stylish. Another highlight: the breakfast is particularly generous and beautifully showcases high-quality local products. A charming place we highly recommend!

Martina is a wonderful host. Location is great. Quaint, clean. So welcoming. Would have liked to stay longer
