08/10/2023: A family run Irish hotel that offers such nice and comfortable rooms. The quality of the interior, beds and bathrooms are way above average - definitely more like at 4+ star hotel. The breakfast is also very tasty and well presented. One thing I would have liked to see is that you can choose more than one breakfast option for example irish breakfast with french toast. Very friendly staff that will look after you.

20/11/2023: I love the Carlavan! Always have the most interesting chats with folks as I munch on the TASTIEST and BEST value Toasted sandwichs! Tea served in REAL mugs too! Not to mention Carla's baked goods!

06/09/2023: The hotel is spotless & welcoming. The host & hostess professional & so accommodating. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a very long time. I would return to lisdoonvarna to just stay at this hotel.
23/08/2023: The service and food were wonderful, the room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. The hotel was pretty and the location was convenient and pleasant, despite a limited view of the spectacular surroundings.

02/04/2024: I have been there with my partner for only one night because we wanted to see the Cliffs of Moher but I can say that I already have nostalgia about that place. Can't say a lot about it since we spend there only few hours but vibes and e edgy were special.
The owner is so sweet and always there to help, the room where clean and comfortable, amazing breakfast and perfect location with parking.
Highly recommended. It is not modern, but if you are looking for a cozy and nice and warming place to stay definitely go there!!
29/10/2023: We had a wonderful stay! The food was lovely and there was a great atmosphere.
John and Ann were very friendly and the room was very clean. We had a fabulous time there and we look forward to staying there again next year.

24/03/2024: I’ve never been shooed out anywhere before but this place kicked me out simply because I was carrying two backpacks??? I’m traveling from the US all over Ireland and I’ve never been treated with such rudeness, as if I was a bad picture of themselves. This is supposed to be a nice establishment but what I received was utter disrespect and disappointment. I was planning to stay there but that interaction left a disgusting taste in my mouth.

The Burren fast food takeaway

15/08/2023: "The Burren Take Away" left me with many negative impressions after ordering three different pizzas. Unfortunately, all of them turned out to be far from tasty, and I subsequently experienced heartburn. Even the request to make one of the pizzas non-spicy was ignored, and instead, a spicy dish was served. For these reasons, I can give "The Burren Take Away" only 2 stars.
In addition, there is also a suspicion that the pizza might have been store-bought and simply reheated, then served with additional ingredients.
