Disappointed with our meal and service here . Breads and starters fab but main courses mediocre. I had the special Iberian pork ... so fatty and rare , really disappointed . Waiter agreed when he took my plate but nothing reflected in the bill . Chicken parmigiana was ok . Monk fish good . Anytime we asked for water refills we had to asked 2 or 3 times .

We had dinner at Peploe’s on a recent visit to Dublin. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in a very long time. The food was outstanding, as was the service. The restaurant itself has a lovely ambience. We were perhaps lucky that we visited on a quiet(ish) evening, so had plenty of space and the noise levels were modest. With that as the only caveat, I would recommend very highly.
Food was fab, staff were very friendly and professional, Greg is worth his weight in gold, lovely guy and very witty

Look the atmosphere is great, food is okay but the service is not what I expected. Felt very rushed, different server every 15min. Really wasn’t what was expected for local fare.
Been to plenty of local restaurants but this just doesn’t feel like a high end local restaurant.

The waitress with a snobe attitude made me feel uncomfortable, rushing with the orders, no patience at all. The hostess was super kind, the food was okay.

Went for dinner with my wife. Excellent staff and service, made us very welcome. However: the tables are way too close to each other so if you get a loud neighbour you can't have a decent conversation. The food: starters were great, but the mains we had were mediocre at best: my rib eye had way too much gristle, and aubergine parmesana looked over-baked. Overall, not a good value for money.

We visited from Kerry and knew of the reputation of Peploe's. We managed to be accommodated without a reservation and had the most delightful lunch we've had in some time. The veal kidneys for starters were delicious as too were my wife's tempura mushrooms. As mains we had the filet mignon with beef cheek en-croute and the seafood Linguini. Both truly devine. We accompanied the meal down with a bottle of wine from Peploe's impressive cave. The staff were both professional, polite and accomodating. This is a classy restaurant and well worth a visit.

Lovely food and service. We had crabs and beef ragu for starters: linguini and fish for main. The main did not come with any sides so you have to pay extra for it and the portion was quite small which brought the overall score down to 4. The tables are quite close to each other which you can listen to the next table conversations.
