We went on the recommendation of an Irish friend and had a very good dinner. A delicious fish & chips and the best fish pie we have ever tried. Very good quality-price ratio. Lovely service and very fast cooking. If you are lost in Dublin, don't hesitate to try it!

Very reliable sport for lunch in Dublin. Can be noisy but it's part of its charm.

The place is really nice but maybe tries to push a bit too much the fact that some international stars have had dinner there. The food is good but I didn't find it mind-blowing. Scallops were good but they contained bacon and one had a bed of black pudding, which is always an easy way to make any food tastier. I am not pescatarian but the other person eating with me was. I am told that the fish & chips was delicious as it was not greasy. Personally I found it not particularly tasty. But also, I know that I'm not usually a great fan of fish&chips, so knowing that I should have probably ordered something else. My main disappointment was the dessert. I ordered an apple crumble hoping for something warm. I specifically asked the staff if that would have been the case and got pressured that it was. Sadly it wasn't. The apple inside was also quite tough (probably served not cooked) which despite being a choice that I don't agree with, made it hard to be eaten with the cutlery we had been served: a spoon. As promised the Guinness was instead delicious. I loved that they had a sweet wine option, of which I'm always a big fan.

Overall, it's a good restaurant and the food is good, but the prices are a bit high. A place worth visiting at least once

La Maison

04/04/2024: Friendly hosts , very good French Cuisine Highly recommend
03/04/2024: Can’t overstate how good my evening in La Maison was. Staff amazing, efficient and friendly. Food might be the best I’ve ever had in Dublin. I had the French onion soup and the rack of lamb, both stellar. For dessert the crème brûlée lived up to the hype. Will definitely be back.

Mister S

05/04/2024: The cuisine is original and good but the service and setting are a little below the cuisine. But the main thing is to eat well.
04/04/2024: Incredible meal. The food was stunning. So fresh, bursting with flavor and utterly delicious. The service was impeccable. Friendly and attentive but not over bearing. I would highly recommend booking. We went mid week and they were fully booked all evening.
