Matt The Thresher in Dublin

Great Fish … we had the Fish and Chips, cooked to perfection, and excellent service. They also had great catch of the day options, featuring Seabass and Monkfish.

I came for the chowder and the mussles and they did not disappoint. Service and staff were very attentive and friendly. Venue and setting is beautiful. Wish I had time to try more of the menu 😋

Ordered the Tomato salad with whipped goat cheese. €14.95. I'm guessing there was about one tomato maybe 1.5 tomatoes cut up. Tomatoes were nowhere near ripe, they had just come out of refrigeration. For €14.95. Ordered the fish and chips, batter not cooked through completely. Restaurant about half full. No excuse for either of these.

Had a brilliant evening in Matt the Threshers. What a fantastic fish restaurant — the choice on the menu was excellent and everything we had was absolutely top class. The staff were brilliant too. Really friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout, and nothing was too much trouble. It just made the whole evening really enjoyable. The food was the real highlight. Everything was fresh, beautifully cooked and full of flavour, and there was such a great choice that we could have happily ordered half the menu! Overall, a really lovely experience from start to finish. Great food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely somewhere I’d recommend for a special occasion — we’ll definitely be back. 👌

I ate Connamara oysters and grilled oysters (spectacular). Prices in line with the location.

Really good seafood plate and a catch of the day seabass. Amazing atmosphere. The live jazz music was an excellent and unexpected addition to the meal. Would visit again with family.

We had one of the best meals during our stay in Dublin there . Everyone was very kind and we loved the atmosphere .
