By far and away the best part of our entire trip to Ireland. Not because of the extensive whiskey selection, heck we can't even afford the good stuff here, but because of the conversations with the owner Flash. Couldn't recommend this place more! And after a few bad experiences in Dublin this might be the saving grace if why we would come back to Ireland again

We stopped in to enjoy some Irish Whiskey. Flash who is the owner kept us mesmerized with his story telling of the town, the museums, distilleries, breweries and bars. He should be paid by the Waterfordโ€™s Tourism Board. He has a huge selection of whiskeys and is so knowledgeable about all of them. Was a great time meeting this fine Irish gentleman!! Please stop by, you wonโ€™t be disappointed!!!

A lovely pub with a very large selection of Irish whiskey. The landlord is also very knowledgeable about whiskey and has a particularly wide selection of Waterford whiskeys.

10/06/2026: Absolutely fantastic, Aoife was great! She even pronounced my icelandic name correctly!
10/06/2026: We went to the reg for food last week for a small reunion. The chowder was absolutely delicious and the fish special recommended by Tila was amazing. Staff were so nice and attentive and Tila really looked after us. Such a nice place to visit. Will definitely be back!

Dooley's Hotel

19/05/2026: Luggage service was provided at check-in and check-out. Changing rooms was no problem, as we were unable to use the stairs due to mobility issues. Breakfast was excellent and the service throughout was superb. Best regards, Beate and Marie
18/05/2026: Stayed here with my parents to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The team couldn't do enough for them, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Ross carried all their luggage from the car to their room - both parents have walking sticks. Leanne was also a smiling helpful lady. Karen our waitress had such a lovely way with her and kept the one liners coming which charmed my parents. They love the banter! The rooms were fantastic, comfortable, well appointed and recently refurbished. The supervisor at breakfast was excellent too, we didn't catch his name but he was another real asset. We caught him about to head out to the car with my parents luggage in the rain, just stopped him in time - we had coats he didn't! This has got to be the friendliest hotel in ireland! Well done everyone, you aced the customer journey ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
