We were staying locally for a wedding, we called 4pm to see if they had availability for 15 that night. They happily accepted us, and the food was to die for! It was their first night open after the winter closure, such good service and food we would absolutely recommend.
There is no boat parking at the nearby marina. Just posting this to hopefully save a trip for tourists. Locals may know how to dock, but all I saw were a bunch of signs warning you not to doc. Also saw a review where the family had to boat for 20 minutes then take a 20 minute cab (each way).
Highly recommended. If you want to try something else not the usual menu.Just try them.
One of the best duck what I got in Ireland. Friendly and polite service. Nice atmosphere.
Fantastic food! The most delicious pork ribs in my life, very tasty beef too. Definitely recommend!
They also had live music on Saturday night, which was great too.
Had a lovely meal there on a Sunday evening....beautiful spot, with a welcoming log burner and warm and friendly host Roger. The food was excellent...my friend ordered the meat platter which was ginormous and tasty...the generous portions of lasagne that my other friend and I had, were very satisfying after a boat trip out amongst the islands on Lough Key. Can't think of a better way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon in May... highly recommend! Cheers!
Went in last night no tabel booked no problem had one of the best steak I've had in years .Been here few times in last year and everytime food is 100 percent perfect staff very helpful and your not rushed . See you all soon...
