The Moorings in Knockvicar

We were traveling out of lough Key by boat and by chance we found the moorings on Google. We called and got a place offered to moor in the marina. The owner met us and helped us get pulled in. The service in the pub was great with a very friendly waitress serving us. A great place to stop in future.

Had amazing food two nights in a row , great place to eat really much better food than anywhere I’ve eaten in Wicklow

We were staying locally for a wedding, we called 4pm to see if they had availability for 15 that night. They happily accepted us, and the food was to die for! It was their first night open after the winter closure, such good service and food we would absolutely recommend.

There is no boat parking at the nearby marina. Just posting this to hopefully save a trip for tourists. Locals may know how to dock, but all I saw were a bunch of signs warning you not to doc. Also saw a review where the family had to boat for 20 minutes then take a 20 minute cab (each way).

Highly recommended. If you want to try something else not the usual menu.Just try them. One of the best duck what I got in Ireland. Friendly and polite service. Nice atmosphere.

Great food, drinks and entertainment. Our dogs were made welcome and we were able to stay overnight in our campervan in the car park.

Fantastic food! The most delicious pork ribs in my life, very tasty beef too. Definitely recommend! They also had live music on Saturday night, which was great too.

Didn’t eat just called in for drink. Hit or miss if the place will be open, makes it hard to plan for a visit
