Inside Out in Slane

Hi. So I want to give a review if a meal we had recently. Burger was dry overcooked and tasteless. Wife beef cheek was succulent but the sauce was way over salted and overthick. The garlic potatoes were mushy not crispy and the garlic wasn't cooked through. It was bitter. Overall we were disappointed with the food quality. The desert in plant pot had nice elements but it doesn't work as a dish as the ice cream turns to a milkshake in the pot. Nice idea poorly executed. We hope they take on board this feedback as its coming from a constructive place.

Had a lovely evening here last night with my parents and two kids. The food was fab, we had duck wings for starters, the kids had mini steak and pizza, we had the Portuguese chicken, the burger amd beef cheeks - all really decent sized portions and cooked perfectly! The kids loved it and my parents really enjoyed it too. A special shout out to our server Paulina, who was absolutely brilliant. So friendly, professional, attentive and just lovely throughout the evening. Honestly, she’s the main reason we wanted to leave a review — she was fantastic! We had a nice big round table upstairs, it was quite hot upstairs and more fans would have made it more comfortable in this heat, colouring pages and colours would have been a nice touch for the kids as they waited. The hew outdoor area looks great but it was raining so we couldn't enjoy it, but hopefully next time! We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again, especially to Paulina! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Looks nice enough and food is probably good. Alas we didn't get that far: although billed as "dog friendly" by locals, no dogs are admitted inside. And there is no outside area. Rather disappointed.

As a local I've been several times over the years, it never disappoints between the care and service from the staff and the quality of the food. Keep up the great work Inside Out.

On June 20, we had a great meal at Inside Out, enjoying their signature 2/2 split pizza — half Cuts Father and half Leonardo da Vinci. It was really delicious and full of flavour, a perfect combination. I had it with a Guinness, which rounded it off nicely. the staff were very nice and welcoming.

Delicious food, fabulousstaff and service, relaxed vibe, we love this restaurant.

Beef cheeks were among the best things I ate on my holiday in Ireland.

Refined and elegant setting. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Highly recommended.
