10/07/2026: Looks nice enough and food is probably good. Alas we didn't get that far: although billed as "dog friendly" by locals, no dogs are admitted inside. And there is no outside area.
Rather disappointed.
02/07/2026: As a local I've been several times over the years, it never disappoints between the care and service from the staff and the quality of the food. Keep up the great work Inside Out.

03/07/2026: John hosted the day 2 of our wedding at Boyles and it was an absolute pleasure. A genuinely helpful person and the pub couldn’t have been better. Thank you for everything John and staff. Hope to return again soon.

04/05/2026: Had Sunday dinner in the restaurant and the service, food and atmosphere were all excellent. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Enjoyed all three courses and a few glasses of delicious Malbec. They were also able to accommodate a change to my booking at fairly short notice which I greatly appreciated. All in all a fantastic experience which I will recommend to others.

22/06/2026: Passing through Slane earlier today from Drogheda & was going to go in to the deli beside for something to eat & decided to go in to Big Bites when I seen it was open, I got a cheeseburger & chips meal with a can of coke all for less than €7 but without doubt the chips were the highlight, thick & tasty chips, had to wait til I got home to eat the burger as I couldn't stop eating the chips, well worth stopping in when passing by 🤤 the burger didn't disappoint either btw 👍🏻
