Georges Patisserie in Slane

This is a fabulous patisserie and cafe. I ate lunch here twice over the days coming up to my daughters wedding nearby. The lunch options are simply fabulous, feta salad was like a dinner, the club sandwich was amazing as was the chicken wrap, the cheese salad sandwich was so tasty, each day our group of four had fantastic food at very reasonable prices with great service. We also ordered a tiramisu cake for my daughters wedding with brownies and salted caramel bakes, wedding guests were knocked out by the each one, just divine. You just have to eat here and taste the pastries and cakes.

Delicious freshly baked goods like cakes, pastries & breads- huge selection. Lovely warm brown berry scones with jam & cream, tasty lemon meringue pie.. and gluten free options. You can see the bakers in the kitchen making bread & decorating cakes- amazing! Staff very friendly, you order at counter & they bring it to you. Great service. Always people coming n going.. Lovely atmosphere. Sit inside or outside.

Gorgeous is one of those places that can be considered as a gem. Let’s go by parts: the staff is absolutely lovely and welcoming, the place cozy and nice, the coffee… oh the coffee… if you’re tired of sour and acidic taste in your coffee, this is definitely your place: coffee strong, bitter as it should be, great aroma, amazing. But that’s not all, are you coming for food? It’s amazing, tasty, with very delicate touches, and the pastries and desert? A kick of flavour, absolutely delightful. Gorgeous honoured its name, gorgeous place, gorgeous staff, gorgeous coffee, gorgeous food.
