The place was packed - Six Nations rugby match between Scotland and Ireland - but the patrons made space and welcomed us. What a fine, friendly establishment and a good place to enjoy a pint.

They don't serve food, but happy for us to bring fish and chips in from up the road and enjoy a good pint. Great atmosphere, friendly locals.

09/03/2024: Honestly I thought I could make a better sandwich but I'm beginning to doubt myself after the my experience here, The bread, ham and cheese was heaven in my mouth followed by a fluffy and soft coffee cake that was cheaper and nicer than a Starbucks. So if you don't come here you should be ashamed of yourself because you are not only failing to support local but also because your letting me down cause my life is better than it was one hour ago and yours could be too.
09/03/2024: A friend recommended visiting if we were in the neighbourhood. So glad we did. Between the fantastic toasted sandwiches, tasty pastries and great service. Great place to go for a coffee and will be back.
