The Village Inn in Slane

Delicious breakfast burrito and Italian job sandwich, creamy latte and very friendly staff.

I hade the double bacon burger and it was the best I ever had.

Love our visits to the village Inn pub which houses Silly Sid's cafe in Slane. We have stopped in multiple times in the past year and are never disappointed with the service or food. There's quite an informal atmosphere being located in a pub, and that suits us quite well as we usually stop en route to somewhere else. We've ordered off menu a couple of times and its never been a problem to the chef. if theres any drawback its only that it's a popular venue and you might have to wait for a table but that's a great sign in our book. Love that they're pet friendly too. Very happy to recommend to any passing visitors.

Good spot for lunch, and a big plus, is dog friendly. Good spot also to watch sport. Good food options at good prices.

Lovely staff. It's a bit dated, but authentic pub. Nice for a cup of tea or coffee.
