Lovely spot for food in Waterford. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food tasty. Good, relaxing atmosphere.

Good spot to go for a night out also for food during the day

Short but sweet. 1st visit was for food, no complaints in this regard. Food and service was top notch. Bar staff, good/average. Knowledge of drinks not great but that's overshadowed by lack of interest in serving/keeping the bar flowing. Staff in general pleasant but it can feel like you're a hindrance to them at times. One particular member of staff is cold as ice (probably hit on too much at the weekends). That's neither a complaint or kudos. Just play the field as you find it baby.

I booked the Reg as part of a hen weekend and I would definitely recommend! We had a lovely table reserved upstairs and the waiters were so friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely! After the dinner we were lucky to get an area reserved in the nightclub area so we were able to stay and enjoy the rest of our night here Thank you again! ☺️

We arrived in Waterford in a steady rain and after doing a walk-about, decided took for a good place for lunch. The Reg fit the bill perfectly. We were a bit damp and cold and the incredible Fish Chowder and a pint was the perfect remedy. So very delicious!

The Reg is one of the top 5 bar restaurants to eat in and have a nite out, fantastic food, very accommodating, friendly staff, bar is professionally run and have high standards which is good, it's also brilliant location and great for Irish Rugby fans, it has a luxury bar upstairs Shush and an open terrace.
