The Reg in Waterford

We went to the reg for food last week for a small reunion. The chowder was absolutely delicious and the fish special recommended by Tila was amazing. Staff were so nice and attentive and Tila really looked after us. Such a nice place to visit. Will definitely be back!

We were in Waterford for a few days and came across The Reg. The Reg is a great little gastro pub in the Viking's Triangle of Waterford. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was extremely tasty. The housemade soup was rich and hearty. Especially with the walnut bread they served it with. Best of all was the service. Aoife was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a must try if you're in Waterford.

Zara was amazing! My first time in Ireland and was greeted with fast service and extremely personable and kind staff. The food was fantastic. I couldn't ask for a better experience!

The Reg worked for us. We arrived approximately 5:30 on a Tuesday. We were seated immediately and felt welcomed by the staff. We ordered drinks and dinner. We had Mushroom Ragu with penne and Seafood Pie and we enjoyed both very much. We would order the entrees again. We shared a bannoffee pie and that was pretty basic. The entrees definitely surpassed the dessert as far as flavors. The wait staff was very attentive, absolutely no complaints there. It was pretty quiet as far as other patrons when we were there, which was a nice break for us after a busy day.

Great pub with a good atmosphere and music

A very pretty and atmospheric place in the city center. History touches every corner. After all, it's the oldest city in Ireland. As for the place, the food is delicious.

Great food, great people, great beer. The place has a rooftop seating area as well as inside seating. really comfortable and really great food. The people here are super nice and welcoming. If you are traveling, then this is the place to eat. 10/10.

Very cool rooftop patio with some parts of it overlooking the river. It even had a big screen TV outside. Food was great.
