Hidden away up lane is this fantastic bar that's been serving locals and visitors for many years it's going stronger now than it ever was, staff are friendly and service is on the button, and food it's exceptional, the ginger man is a place that someone will return to time after time,

Great Irish pub and we finally got the bacon and cabbage we’d been looking for! Lovely staff who did a smaller all day breakfast for my 8 year old and really cosy place where we could shelter from a down pour :)!

For our day trip to Waterford, identified this pub from online reviews as a good option for our lunch and it did NOT disappoint. It is off a pedestrian road in the center of town and packs the traditional Irish pub feel upon entering. Our party of 4 was seated at a rounded booth and promptly waited upon. I decided to go with their seafood chowder, which turned out to be the best I had over our vacation throughout the country and one of the 3 best dishes I had overall. Would definitely return if ever back in the area.

We were in Waterford for the day and decided to eat at the pub. Service was great and the meals were giant!! My husband had the cottage pie which could have served 3 people!! (He could not eat it all and felt badly about it!). I had the soup and sandwich special which was vegetable soup and a full ham salad sandwich! All was very good, but again the portions were huge!! There were 2 young women who were next to us and also got sandwiches and left 3/4 of the food too!! Maybe they need to downsize?!!
