Absolutely fantastic musical entertainment in the evening

For me this is the best pub in Dublin, right off O'Connell St. The staff is friendly, food good, and they always remember what you drink...and the best part is even though you only visit Ireland once or twice a year they remember you!

Old pub with a good pub atmosphere. Friendly service, solid food.

Perfect pub after a day on the bus. Quiet, with just the right amount of atmosphere for a great ending to a busy day. Staff is very friendly and personable. Food is very nice. Shepherds pie was perfectly done as was the fish and chips. Seafood chowder is also top notch. I would highly recommend this pub.

A lovely stop at Madigan’s in Dublin. Tried both Guinness and Murphy’s—both were incredibly smooth and delicious! Such a friendly, traditional Irish pub. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the local vibe.

I've been there several times. The staff is fantastic. The food is very good, especially the Guinness ribs.

You will miss the best place to eat in Dublin it you don't stop by for a pint! We tried 8 different items and each one was better than the next! Best Chips.. Fries in the world! Not kidding! Best part of all it has that classic Irish pub feel stopped by to just get a Guinness or stick around to eat. Great service, friendly staff. All this and in the heart of downtown Dublin.

Wonderful service, amazingly friendly and accommodating. Wonderful food, delicious and large portions.

We came as a group of 10 people and ordered Guinness and food. The bear and other drinks were good actually, really enjoyed it. Atmosphere was not bad, weiters we're also friendly and ready to help, which I think is very important in Gastronomy and a Service job. However, here is the big problem, what I also asked the weiter, "Why are the portions so Small?" I did complain, but someone told me, a lot of people complained as well, but nothing changed. Which I think if you want to grow and improve, what ever it is that you are doing in life, you have to change for better, if the customers say, we don't like this or that, that means something needs to change. I hope the owner or manager will be able to read our comments and consider changes for better for the nice and cool restaurant and pub. Other than that it's a nice place with friendly people.
