We had the wings and I had to come back the next day for them again. Dominic the head chief was amazing and super personable. I would fly back just to go there again.

Located on O'Connell Avenue, it's not one of the most expensive restaurants in the area. There's not always music, so it's a quiet place for dinner. The Guinness ribs were delicious.

For me this is the best pub in Dublin, right off O'Connell St. The staff is friendly, food good, and they always remember what you drink...and the best part is even though you only visit Ireland once or twice a year they remember you!

Perfect pub after a day on the bus. Quiet, with just the right amount of atmosphere for a great ending to a busy day. Staff is very friendly and personable. Food is very nice. Shepherds pie was perfectly done as was the fish and chips. Seafood chowder is also top notch. I would highly recommend this pub.

A lovely stop at Madigan’s in Dublin. Tried both Guinness and Murphy’s—both were incredibly smooth and delicious! Such a friendly, traditional Irish pub. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the local vibe.

13/04/2026: Great historical hotel. A bit noisy as our room was by the tram. Great breakfast I'm the morning. Good location.
14/03/2026: Lovely hotel right in centre of Dublin 2 mins from GPO. Staff super helpful n friendly. Roberta 5* on reception. Early check-in no extra cost. Bag storage at check out all smooth. Breakfast lovely. welcoming environment. Quaint hotel oozing with history. Great value for money.

The Church Bar & Restaurant

25/04/2026: I recommend it. I didn't eat, but I drank. The drinks were very good – I recommend the bartender named Klaus. The atmosphere is great. They play Irish music every day, guitar and fiddle. The Irish dancing is wonderful. It's worth coming, listening, looking, feeling, and tasting. The decor is unique, though that's due to the location, which is a former church. This adds a bit of spice for Catholics.
