The Boathouse in Dublin

Beautiful place, special the lake.

Such a lovely place . A real gem. We had a lovely family lunch and got to enjoy the surroundings as well. Didn’t feel like we were in the city , yet it’s only a few mins drive away. Great food, really great service and the atmosphere was lovely . The outside seating is a must if you have kids as they will love the ducks and swans paddling around on the little lake. Highly recommend a visit and a great place for kids as well. We will definitely be returning.

We love visiting Farmleigh for a walk around the beautiful lake and gardens but we were not impressed by the boathouse café after paying €16 for two coffees and two average slices of cake.
