The two of us, along with our toddler, had a wonderful evening here. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a typical Irish pub – cozy, welcoming, and totally relaxed. You immediately feel at home. The food was delicious: the fish and chips were perfectly crispy and fresh, the mussels were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Our little one had nuggets with chips, which were also a big hit. Add to that a few beers – simply a perfect evening all around. We especially appreciated that ketchup and mayo were offered free of charge, which isn't always the case these days. The total cost came to around €60, which is absolutely fair considering the quality, the portion sizes, and the ambiance. A definite 5 stars – we'll definitely be back!

This place was great. By far the best Pub in town. My friends and I were traveling in for a couple days and didn’t end up getting in until later than anticipated. Although we came in close to close the employees were very welcoming and took great care of us! I will definitely be back.

After having explored the entire coast of Ireland and trying fish and chips from all over, I can officially attest that the fish and chips here were mine and my friends’ favorite. Batter is excellent. Quantity makes you stuffed. The greens are fresher than air ontop of Carrauntoohil Stopped here after missing our turn - best detour of the trip!

Incredible little pub with excellent food. I highly recommend the chowder, crab cake, scampi and cabbage with bacon. I was keen to have something traditional so went for the cabbage and bacon as a main. Yes it's meat, cabbage, potatoes and sauce not everyone's thing but absolutely my thing. The bacon was thick and flavoursome, the cabbage still had body and crunch, the potatoes were firm but fluffy. The sauce flavoursome and light. It's simple, it's classic and it's a staple for a reason. Had a little Cedona with it, came nicely chilled but not too cold. Staff were so wonderful! We were having trouble with the car and they went truly above and beyond to help. If you're in the area this is a must for great seafood and traditional Irish dishes.
