The best restaurants in Lahinch

27/08/2026: Amazing pastries! We got several things and it was all so delicious. I literally shouted Oh My God after taking a bite of the custard one. Get a few of those, because you’re not going to want to share it. A hidden gem is this little town. I recommend parking here and take the free shuttle over to the cliffs of mohr and grab some treats for your adventure.

26/08/2026: Staff were so friendly and approachable Food is absolutely unreal , I had two sausage rolls and honestly … I could’ve had their whole supply for the rest of my life, absolutely sensational, the pastry was phenomenal, no dryness anywhere so moist so buttery , best sausage roll I have ever had, please bring some to Scotland it will change the country forever !!!!

25/08/2026: A must stop in lahinch . We had breakfast and coffee here both mornings of our stay . I had the homemade granola the 1st morning it was soooo good. Had the breakfast bap the 2nd morning it was amazing . Coffee is very good too !! Staff were so friendly , we got served quickly , place is spotless . Will 100% visit again .

16/05/2026: A lively restaurant. A constant flow of people. The service is efficient and, despite the stress, manages everything with ease and appears relaxed. Despite the hustle and bustle, we were seated at the bar for a few minutes without a reservation. Here we could browse the menu and order our first drinks. The food arrived quickly and tasted delicious.

06/05/2026: Perfectly adequate meal for us who are not geared towards golf in a golf town. Server was new and eager to help.

16/08/2026: We really enjoyed our dinner in the charming upstairs room at The Edge. We shared a salad with whipped goat cheese and then the seared scallops, which came with risotto, carrots and broccoli. Everything was delicious and just enough.

12/08/2026: The staff were incredibly unpleasant. The food was defrosted. The bar patrons didn't hesitate to fart on us. The various waiters, thinking we didn't understand a word of English, openly mocked us simply because we're French.

11/08/2026: Excellent stew and fish and chips. Highly recommended.

12/08/2026: We had dinner for 4. The food was excellent and service was very good, with the owner present and advising us on wines. Would highly recommend!

25/07/2026: Stayed at Vaughan Lodge and had breakfast here. What an impressive quality spread with generous portioned food from the menu and cold things from the buffet. There was a wide varieties of cold cuts, cheeses, spreads, cereals and nuts with 3 different types of plant milk. The note was thoughtful about minimizing food waste. Service was lovely.

24/10/2025: This is the place to stay when visiting Lahinch. Less than a 5-minute walk to both the town and Lahinch GC. Onsite restaurant is excellent for both breakfast and dinner, and the staff is marvelous.

13/08/2026: Great old fashioned bar. Well run and friendly. Sparkling water is top class.

05/08/2026: My favourite pub in Ireland. It’s traditional, the staff are friendly (as is the owner Peter), the Guinness is excellent and the whiskey collection is impressive. Lovely to sit in the sun out in the back garden.

27/05/2026: Was really impressed with my stay here. Very close to the beach. I unfortunately didn’t get any names of the staff but it was one girl in the dining room and a very friendly man at the front desk. They were very welcoming and accommodated us perfectly. The room was basic but the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast we had was a bonus and it was very tasty and the girl was a very friendly server. They let us use facilities after checkout since we spent the day at the beach before leaving Lahinch. I would definitely come back here if I ever visit again!

21/04/2026: Great location, lovely service. Lots of renovations have been done recently, bed very comfy, bathrooms new - what more could you ask for. Cleanliness excellent and breakfast very tasty. I will be back - Des, from Desmond Tours
