Vaughan Lodge in Lahinch

What a delightful stay at the Vaughan. Met lodge owners extraordinaire - Maria & Michael Vaughan. They were sincerely hospitable .. we felt like royalty! The room was spacious & yet had a cozy feel to it. Loved the luxurious bath after a chilly night at the waterfront having tasty fish & chips from Spooney’s while watching the sun set. Breakfast was divinely inspired & served by super pleasant and excellently trained staff. Ever so many colourful & texture filled choices on the menu & buffet.

Restaurant also open for external (non-hotel) guests. Food: Gorgious. Had crab claws (Starter) and Seafood Chowder (worth a Main meal). Location: Great view to coast and cliffs

What a beautiful hotel !! It was like home from home , it was so relaxing after having visitors home from America with two small children we were exhausted and we stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel . Food is excellent I would highly recommend this hotel as it is in walking distance to the town . Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and the ginger tea xx

There was a large group of us (33 people) that were staying at the Vaughan Lodge. The staff took very good care of everyone. The rooms were clean and spacious. The food was excellent. I had 'fried' my curling iron due to a bad converter rendering it useless. I asked if they had one at the front desk that I could borrow. They did not but the owner of the lodge lived close by and ran home so I could borrow hers!! I would definitely recommend this property.

Stunning accommodations, outstanding food & service. One of the best in the country!!

We verbleven 3 nachten, kamers zeer proper vanwege de perfecte roomservice. Ontbijt zeer goed verzorgd met alles wat je nodig hebt en veel meer, personeel op en top vriendelijk en behulpzaam waar nodig. Een TOP ervaring, als we terugkomen zal het zeker naar dit hotel zijn.

Perfect location for exploring County Clare. Fantastic staff and wonderful attention to detail throughout the hotel. Our room was very nice, perfect for a weekend stay. Breakfast fell somewhat below our expectations. Also would note that the shower (over bath) was not suitable for the very tall! The highlight of this hotel was the pleasure of absolute silence at night time.

Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. We spent some time in the bar and the staff was very friendly. Very short walk to the pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended.
