The Edge in Lahinch

The food is outstanding. The service is superb. The atmosphere is arguably the best part. The dimmed lights and music are perfect. I’m so glad we found this dinner spot!

We were on holiday passing through Lahinch and selected The Edge for an early dinner at the recommendation of the owner of (or a worker in) Sue’s Lahinch Limited clothing store. It was an excellent dining experience, from the service, atmosphere, cleanliness and timing. But what’s most memorable for me and my husband was the SEAFOOD CHOWDER!! It is quite literally the best soup I’ve ever had in a restaurant! I am certain, the next time we visit Ireland we’ll plan a few days in Lahinch for sole purpose of enjoying the seafood chowder, oh and dining experience too! Kudos to the chef and the creator of the recipe. Know that I will be craving your soup from Ohio, likely for the rest of my life 😍. Well Done!!

One of the best salads I've ever had! I would return for that alone but everything was great. Lovely restaurant for something a bit nicer when we'd been travelling around Clare.

discovered by chance, right next to the beach, and all the dishes seemed worth it so we took several to share, the fish was very good and the chicken wings too!

Staff were nice & helpful. The Scampi was a bit greasy & we expected with linguini but it more was battered deep fried prawns; Mussels was good in taste & portion size; Thai curry was ok, more localized than having the Thai touch in it. The rice was not flavorful either. Cocktails were average too.

i ordered fish and chips and thai chicken curry. it was so delicious and tasteful that i would remember for long time.... even the fries were tastiest ever tried. i strongly recommend to give it a try. yum yum 😋

Great food, friendly staff and very nice decor

I have eaten in the Edge in Lahinch many times also Kilfenora. The food is super and a few nights ago I had the Prawn and salmon Risotto. It was amazing. Patrick O Connor leads his team with precision and he deserves the success he and his team including Heidi have achieved. The wines at 38 euros are too expensive and I suggest he buys a wonderful Portugese red wine for 9.99 in Aldi and double the price to 20 euros giving him 100% profit. Beautiful space, friendly staff, and good food. The veggie curry was a bit spicy for us after we were told it was mild but good nonetheless. Desert definitely made up for it!

Had an amazing meal here tonight and some lovely cocktails. Thanks in particular to Larry who took such good care of our table- he couldn't do enough for us.
