24/08/2026: Great spot for a holiday. Nice space, well run, clean and tidy, handy shop, bar and restaurant onsite. Great Community, friendly and well run. 10 mins walk to lahinch beach.. lovely place

11/04/2026: Room were nice and cosy,hot water took some time to come, Rooms have no sound proofing, breakfast was sad and really uneatable, nobody ever answered phone at reception, Reception staff can be over worked, tried / grumpy.

27/03/2026: We had food here.It was very nice.The house Chardonnay was poor and the man who seemed to be in charge was really smarmy so much so I jokingly asked him was he a Kerry man looking for business.But as I said I enjoyed the food….we didnt go back today.Returned to Lahinch a couple of months ago.The food here was top class.Big plates of perfectly cooked food.Exactly what you need after long walks.We will be back soon and will eat here everyday

09/09/2026: Below average fish a chips. Massive portion and good tartar sauce- but chips and fish were not great. Also no toilets

03/09/2026: Awful experience today after coming for 5 years. We paid 48 euro for 2 fish and chips with drinks and curry sauces, fair enough as everything goes up in price. My fish was rotten, bad smelling and tasting, we told the staff. A chef half my age came out and stood over us asking ‘what is wrong with the fish’ as if telling him it was gone off wasn’t enough. He proceeded to tell us very rudely that this is ‘how fish taste like’. In my whole life I have not been served rotten fish and told that it’s my problem and I should eat it as it came this morning. Does coming same day means it cannot be gone off?? I have never been treated by any restaurant like that ever anywhere I have been to and this young man will find out the hard way some fish is spoiled when it arrives. Needless to say we won’t be going there again and want to warn others. Staff seems different every time we go there and you just cannot maintain quality with lack of training and bad attitude, finer establishments fell on that hill once the tourists clear out and locals get burned.

15/08/2026: Chinese nere. I ordered loads of food from this takeaway today and was very impressed with the flavour and the quality of the food! My favourite is beef in black bean sauce and Singapore styled stir fried noodles. So tasty and the beef was perfectly tender! My Irish in-laws loved the Chicken with ginger and spring onions and the Singapore styled fried noodles also. The crispy duck is pretty good, too! So happy I decided to give this place a try! A great part of the Lahinch food scene 🙌 The best of luck to them!

19/10/2025: This is the ONLY place we eat when visiting Lahinch . Perfect to watch the sun going down over the water. Tasty food, relaxed vibe and lovely people.

02/09/2026: Vaughans is one of my favorite restaurants however after eating there today I was surprised at the small portions with a high price for the monkfish. Both myself and my husband ordered this and were really surprised at the portion. It was very small. My husband was still hungry after eating. Being charged over €30 and not being satisfied is not good. My husband felt it was like 1 portion divided in two. We gave feedback to the waiter who said it was what it is and that was it. I had eaten chowder earlier so I wasn’t hungry after dinner but if I hadn’t I definitely would have been if I hadn’t eaten previously. Both the chowder and the fish and chips my son had was lovely. And the staff were very nice
