Ordered fish and chips, scampi, and battered onions, taste delicious, and have flavour on it. The place was quite busy during our visit, hard to dine in as there's only a limited table available. Food was ready real quick, happy with our food.

Best fish and chips we have had in a while! Was just passing through Lahinch on the way back home and stopped here to get something to eat. Myself and my daughter grab some food and it was delicious! The chips especially were lovely and crispy and the portion sizes were big and would highly recommend! The staff were polite and the food took around 5 minutes. I would say definitely check this place out.

Passing by here today called in for some fish and chips going by reviews was expecting better, the fish and chips were soaked in oil there was a build up of oil at bottom of box was very sickening with the oil, the chips were decent tbf but the batter soaked in oil wasn’t great every bite was oily

I'm just an American tourist loving the Irish landscape, people and culture. Spooney's was a fish and chips place that served up delicious, mouth watering, batter dipped fish and chips (americans: "fresh fries"...yeah, I know American language is weird...). They had a garlic dip that was perfect with it.
Must go if you enjoy a simple fish and Chips meal.
Oh, and don't forget to top it off with the ice cream in the same building... you're welcome.
