Spooney’s Fish & Chips in Lahinch

Below average fish a chips. Massive portion and good tartar sauce- but chips and fish were not great. Also no toilets

We had beautiful fish and chips here - all handmade and home cooked chips. the fish portion was huge and the there was loads of chips. The young one had the kids portion which i didn’t think she would eat but she ate every bit and asked to go back the next day. Homemade tartar sauce and the flakey fish were a match made in heaven - absolutely top notch and good value for fresh well cooked take away food - there nothing in the area that compares!! also love being able to go next door and get the nicest selection of ice cream ever. Great spot!

The fish and chips and onion rings were really delicious, fresh and perfectly cooked. Everything tased great. Definitely worth trying.

Delicious, freshly battered and fried fish & chips. Portion sizes were immense, fish was fresh and fluffy, chips were fried just right. Amazing place to stop by for a good feast and great views outside to enjoy your meal. Lots of young staff - service was a little chaotic but besides that everything was great!

The girl working the counter in the fish and chip shop yesterday about 2pm . I want to give a shout out too. You don’t see young girls like that working flying around . She was managing the till and boxing up food etc . I said to her she’s an amazing worker and meant it. I come from hospitality and now a days you do not see young people work like her . Treat her well .

if you are looking for homemade ice cream, excellent fish and chips and incredible onion rings this is the place ! so good we had to go back the next day for a second cream !

Very busy, service was slow. Waited long time for food and chips were not quite right. Fish was very nice though.

Fish and chips in Lahinch.. in the sun after morning surfing cannot be beaten 🤙 Batter sausage and curry sauce was also epic 😋
