The bestest, most indulging edibles in Lahinch! Coffee and hot chockie are great, too. If only they had a dine-in option… But then again, gorgeous ocean views just a few steps down the road…

From one bakery owner to another I have to say bloody amazing!!! The pastry is exceptional! and so delicate, crispy and flakey. Hands down I can appreciate the attention to detail and effort they have in their products. We had the savoury spinach danish, the sausage roll, ciabatta Brie sandwich and every single item left me utterly impressed. Cannot wait to devour the sourdough bread loaf.
Excellent wholesome bakery with impressive talent, worth the trip from anywhere.

My favorite place in town. Best pastries, and watch out sandwiches sell out. This place is perfect just the way it is.
What a joy to grab fresh bread and serious local marmalade and take it back to the hotel, where they just can’t compete with their breads and marmalades
Get what you pay for. Delicious.

Absolutely delicious coffee and pastries, definitely stop in here instead of going to the cafe at Cliffs of Moher if you’re driving south

The wind whistled against my ears and the rain consumed my being one unassuming day. The only appropriate way to describe my particular predicament is by the Japanese proverb kuchisabishi, or the feeling of having a lonely mouth. As this emotion engulfed my being, l started my pursuit to find a companion for my lonely mouth. Like the three wise men following the star, my instinct brought me to Hugo’s bakery. Though the roll of the crashing waves was as grey as a finance student’s future, my summer blue was brought to me by the bright blue of the Hugo bakery storefront.
Like being lifted into heaven, the divine experience within the bakery was only for angels to perceive and therefore human words cannot describe the majesty.
Three pastries were acquired. I have a genuine fear that i will never enjoy a Cinammon roll again, as this was the superlative. The morning bun was a majestic combination of spicy cardamon, warm cinammon and sweet sugar between laters of buttery pastry. The pain au chocolat, perfect.
Do come to Lahinch (yes, thats with an A), but not for the surfing, only for HUGOS!
P.s. the staff were quite nice ig.
