It was not my first visit in Bunratty Manor Hotel but this time it was over the top experience. From minute I walked in I felt welcome and looked after. Service was professional and simply awesome. Food delicious and well presented. But I have to mentione one person from staff. Abby bar supervisor. Really shining star of that place. Warm, smily, welcoming, professional, and most important serving best pint of Guinness in entire Co. Clare!!! Highly recommend to go and if Abby is working you are winner before you get service!!!

Four of us dined here for Sunday lunch. The food and service were amazing! The service was warm, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Thank you David - you and your team are the epitome of Irish hospitality! We will definitely be back.

Rooms are basic but comfortable. There is no elevator to access the rooms on the second floor so if you have mobility issues or can't carry your luggage up the stairs, you should request a ground floor room when booking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, walking distance to Bunratty Castle and a couple of restaurants, though the restaurant on-site serves delicious food.

Noel and his team are amazing. One night stay on business with accomodation and evening meal. Room really nice and very clean. Great Guinness before we ate. Then the food, simply stunning. Pork Belly with black pudding for starter, then beef cheek for main, souffle to finish. All to a very high standard with exceptional service. My second stay here when in Shannon, loved it.

The Creamery

13/05/2026: An unpretentious restaurant, not gourmet as advertised. Convenient when other dining options aren't available in the park, and the service is quick. However, be aware that a dropped fork was replaced on the table due to poor service.

Traditional Irish Night-Cornbarn at Bunratty Folk Park

24/04/2026: An absolutely amazing place to go! (Accessibility info at the bottom of this review) Would recommend coming here in spring. The sun was out and it was beautiful walking through the different farm house replicas and the old town street. The staff are super friendly! The castle itself is amazing and I was shocked that you can GO IN the castle and walk up and down the stair cases to see the different rooms. Truely a unique experience. Huge shoutout to Connor the ‘school teacher’!! His energy was amazing and he really drew us in with his joy and whimsy…. Not to mention his talent with the tin whistle!! Another huge shoutout to the Potter whose name I didn’t get, but he was lovely and talented. Everything in his shop was beautifully hand crafted and truely unique. You can’t find it anywhere else. I recommend checking out his shop and getting something as you won’t find anything like what he makes and it supports local artists. I want to go back and buy some more of his works. Hopefully I can! All the staff went the extra mile to engage with patrons. I’d also definitely recommend trying to be there for the butter and scones making! There’s a tea room, cafe and gift shop aswell, the food was good and I have no complaints about anything! The castle has no access for wheelchair users and I wouldn’t recommend attempting the internal stairs cases if you have mobility issues, HOWEVER, the rest of the village is accessibility friendly and seemed quite accommodating.
24/04/2026: Met fantastic people in the castle... Austrian royalty in the banquet hall😁 such a great story teller for the Irish. Also, Fantastic Man at the fisherman's cottage, great info, and good craic, Thank you to you all❤️
