The place is beautiful. The castle on the outside is very beautiful, inside it doesn't have much but the atmosphere is very cool. Scenic walks, castle tour was interesting. Place has lot of artefacts. Even includes a playground and bunch of farm animals for children's entertainment.

Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. You will enjoy a lot of this castle and park. There are plenty of curiosities both in the castle itself and in the park nearby. Go up the narrow stairs of the castle towers, feel the atmosphere of the main hall, and look at the rooms of the different status of the castle residents. And see how farmers, fishermen, blacksmiths, and other people of that time lived. The old houses are still heated by park staff in the same way as in ancient times. The entrance costs 10 euros. Large parking lot. Enjoy!

Entrance fees vary depending on the time of year, we were here 3 weeks apart and paid €8 more. But the trip is still worth it, it's a nice experience, especially with children. In the adjacent park there are not only lots of cute houses but also a fairy path. There you help a little fairy find her wings again. There are small information boards and fairy houses to discover along the way. There is also a PDF on the Internet where you can record everything. Could also be used as a children's birthday party.

We enjoyed both the castle and the fun Folk Park. We really enjoyed the grounds.

I know a lot of significantly larger and more extensive castles, but the symbiosis with the sub-castle is well documented.

What an awesome treat!! The banquet dinner was delicious ….and fun. The entertainment was awesome….we totally enjoyed our visit to Bunratty…and would highly recommend it to others!
