Traditional Irish Night-Cornbarn at Bunratty Folk Park in Bunratty

This was a neat stop to take for the day. The people working here were amazing they helped with any question you had and the blacksmith that was on shift was funny and very informative about the trade.

We attended a medieval banquet night at the castle for our 30th wedding anniversary, and what a great evening it was! The actors/singers were fabulous, entertaining and made the evening fun. The food was eaten at long wooden trestle tables with only hands and a knife, in the traditional way, and piping hot, very tasty and plenty of it! We met some lovely people, Alex & Jackie, on their travels from America, and chatted away through the night. A fun and memorable night

The castle is in good condition. The Skanzen is very cool. It's a nice walk.

A stunning place not to be missed if you're near the Cliffs. Strolling through the village streets takes you back in time; the actors are excellent. You can also take a tea break and enjoy delicious cakes.

I highly reccomend spending the day to explore the folk park and in the evening enjoy the excellent feast. Reserve far in advance to get your desired time.

Interesting castle, with a theme park where you can see different types of houses from that era.

Great place to see how people lived through the ages

We were there at the end of September. There weren't many people. The weather was very nice. The only downside was that there weren't many animals in the enclosures.

I thought the village was lovely and it was nice to look inside the different houses and cottages. Disappointed that Bunratty house was closed and we couldn't go in the church due to a private function. The place looked quite run down. Bits of ceiling and dirt had fallen onto some of the beds in various cottages etc. Was quite expensive to enter and would have expected slightly more. No warning when paying that certain parts were closed or off limits.

Wonderful day at Bunratty Castle. So much to see . Entrance fee very reasonable for such a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend it.
