Highly recommended. A proper Irish restaurant. The food was delicious, served hot, and incredibly tasty. We ordered beef stew, lamb shank, and beers. Everything was fantastic! And if you want an authentic Irish experience, this is the place. Thank you so much!!

Nice and delicious food. Loved the lamb shank from the daily special. Crab meat starter was also decent. Nice plating and presentation of food. Personally did not like the chips as it felt really greasy but the mash potato was nice.

We stopped here by chance to watch the solar eclipse. The terrace is lovely, with plenty of tables. We had the fish & chips and the burger, both of which were really good! The terrace was almost full so it was a lovely atmosphere. I would happily come back!

Traditional Irish Night-Cornbarn at Bunratty Folk Park

27/08/2026: I think it’s one of the best castles I’ve visited so far, and the village is charming as well. Whenever friends come to visit from abroad, I always take them here. Highly recommended!
27/08/2026: The village behind the castle is very beautiful, offering a full immersion into the life of the inhabitants of that era. The castle itself is very interesting. The well-maintained outdoor spaces are child-friendly, with games and animals to see, including deer.

21/06/2026: The food is very good, The service is perfect and masterful and the setting lovely too! Anything the blond and my fussy brats wanted was no trouble and for the first time, my kids talked about the food on our table, (we all sampled each others) rather than burying their heads in their phones as usual!
15/05/2026: I believe that a great meal revolves around the people you are with, the service provided by the staff, and finally the food. In this case all three came together. The salmon starter was hot and well prepared. My rack of lamb was tender with a nice au jus. The service was just right, there when needed and allowing us to enjoy our meal. Not an everyday meal or inexpensive but really well done and if I am back in this area I will do it again.
