Heard about this place and decided to give it a try. Cosy atmosphere, views of the harbour and the sea. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was nice but average
Toilets were inaccessible to my injured partner as they were upstairs. There seemed to be no access for wheelchair users or customers who would be unable to us a stairs, which was disappointing.
Disappointed that there were no Roast Potatoes available. They were gone by 1.25. Needs to look at layout for Cavery queue. Thus would eliminate congestion around serving area . Most important though food was tasty
I really liked my visit to The Arches Bar. It seems to be the place to go at the moment in Mallow for a carvery lunch, and it was heaving when I visited. The layout is somewhat unusual in that the seating is laid out almost in a 2-tiered concentric circle manner. Some of the seating has a radiator directly behind and this made my seat a little too warm and uncomfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There is a newly-built music venue to the rear, which apparently is attracting some big names in the music industry. I was informed also that tye venue regularly had live music. I would definitely go back. Ps my cappuccino was well made and I enjoyed it.
