18/01/2026: Exceptional visit tonight. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Portions were huge and food was flavoursome. We will be back.

11/01/2026: I went here for the first time ever for a date night & it was absolutely 💯 from start to finish! The atmosphere was cosy & warm, we had a 3 course and it was amazingly delicious & I haven't been able to finish every meal from a 3 course in a long, long time! Have to compliment especially the sticky toffee pudding, it was to die for 🤤 The staff were extremely friendly & professional, kind & warm. Definitely will be back again to sample more from the menu! 😊 Sadly, I scoffed down the dessert so fast, I forgot to snap a picture 😂

22/01/2026: Stopped here for drinks and dinner. The food was good! The music cannot be beat. A very fun pub to check out when visiting.

22/01/2026: Stopped in for a non alcoholic Guinness and to listen to some music. Vibe was very kick back and relaxed. Not rowdy or annoying. Enjoyed the hour I spent there.

11/01/2026: Mister S is my most favorite restaurant in all of Dublin. They are well known for their steak, but what impresses me the most is the thought behind each dish. Every sauce, dip and dish is carefully thought out. Flavour combinations are exciting and they really consider the entire experience of the meal. For instance, prawns and crab claws are served in a way they can be eaten easily, while ensuring they are presented beautifully. Desserts change every season but are always unique and so carefully crafted. Never a boring meal here. Oh, and do make a reservation.

03/01/2026: The brunch spot is very well located, and the staff are pleasant. The sandwiches are very basic, made with simple white bread; the brioches are good, but it's still a bit expensive for the portion sizes.

08/01/2026: Burger night on a Thursday is great value! The porterhouse burger was great with a glass of Malbec for €20. Looking forward to trying a dish off the main menu next time. Great spot to dine before going to the local cinema!

23/12/2025: Stayed at the Coach Hotel in Ballymote for four days in November. Had a wonderful stay. Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Delicious breakfast every morning to start the day. Nice restaurant and lounge area. Can’t say enough about the great hospitality. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Ballymote area.

07/12/2025: The place is very well located, views are awesome, and service was grand. We had roast beef, fish and chips and mussels. Portions are big, food was ok but we were expecting it to be better, I would go back there for the atmosphere but not for the food.

03/01/2026: Had the mussels, the crab cake with smoked fish, the lamb and the panfried hake. The crab cake was the best part of the meal for sure, although the others weren’t bad either.

28/12/2025: I ordered chowder soup – what I got were two pieces of fish and some doughy lumps, more like glue than soup. The waitress took the plate away, but nobody in the kitchen apologized or offered an alternative. I left hungry and disappointed. Seriously, this is not how guests should be treated....

08/01/2026: Really cosy, friendly staff, have cute Christmas decoration and ole ty of space. They have a great selection of beers and seating arrangements. Perfect for tourists and locals alike. Really friendly place in town that's a staple.

07/01/2026: Came here while in Galway for new year.. we both had the fillet steak and pepper sauce.. to say this is the best steak I have ever tasted would be an understatement..

18/01/2026: I've visited a few times this last year. Always a good atmosphere, good banter, we only had drinks, so I can't comment on the food. Toilets were clean and well kept. Staff are always friendly and quick service. Just ditch the mouthful of gum a male staff member continued to chew on. Not a good look🤨. Its nice to see, sadly deceased staff members are still remembered and acknowledged. And Con Houlihan will never be forgotten.

06/01/2026: The Boars head is a fabulous place for a pint and a bite to eat great atmosphere and a great spot to talk about all things GAA. Hugh and family run a great pub definitely worth popping in for a drink lovely seat right at the window to watch the world go by.

03/01/2026: After a lovely walk on the trails around Howth, we stopped here quite by chance… and what a pleasant surprise! The fish and chips were excellent, as was the curry with its Thai twist. A warm welcome and impeccable service. A place we highly recommend, well done!

02/01/2026: Excellent food, friendly and welcoming service, reservations required towards the end of service. A pleasant stop between a good hike in a beautiful area and the train station for the return trip to Dublin. Ultra-fresh seafood!

04/01/2026: Great restaurant in the proximity to the Energy theatre. Great for a drink or a propper meal, a bit pricy but worth it. Most of all we liked their fish and apple crumble.
