10/07/2026: Easily the best meal we had on our trip through various towns in Ireland. The food was amazing and the waitstaff and owner were so kind and accommodating. Cannot recommend highly enough!

12/07/2026: Outstanding food. So why are staff so disinterested? We were served by someone who gave us the menu and immediately disappeared without a welcome or an explanation of the dishes (the dishes had local names and we didn't know what they meant). I raised this and the person responded quite abruptly and we felt so rushed that we ordered starters to give us more time to decide on mains. We were told "I'll give you 2 minutes, but it can't be longer". Two minutes later they returned and when we still weren't ready they said "1 minute". At that point I asked if we were on a time limit, which in retrospect was probably a bit sarcastic but what do they expect? The waiting person was then replaced by other people. They were a bit nicer, but the personal touch (interest in customers) expected from this quality of restaurant is missing.

08/07/2026: Lovely restaurant! Stopped on the way to Dingle and it was just what we were looking for. Great sandwiches and soups and the best broccoli we had in Ireland. Wonderful staff and fun customers to chat with.

28/06/2026: Absolutely amazing fresh food! And lovely friendly service. Would go back in a heartbeat! I loved that I ordered “soup of the day”, was told it was mushroom soup, but then got tomato soup , because they change it per freshness. It was so good!

29/07/2026: As a Celiac I appreciated the dedication they take on cross contamination and their gluten free options available. I had their GF fish and chips and it was amazing. They even had a GF IPA on tap. Highly recommended.

29/06/2026: Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Food was great. We were here last year with and came back again this year, which says a lot. Dog friendly which is a real bonus as we have a large breed dog that enjoys coming with us. Definitely recommend to anyone passing through.

27/06/2026: We ate here on Thursday, great experience. Food was so fresh and tasty. The staff were excellent, friendly efficient and very patient. We cycled from Mizen head to Malin and this was one of our top 3 eating along the whole length of the country!!

09/06/2026: We had a fantastic meal in their comfortable restaurant. The menu is excellent and thete is something for everyone. the Chouda waz nice and soup of the day was spicy but excellent. pork belly took the fancy of 3 of us and they raved about it. i had short rib and it was so tender. the others had rissoto or chicken burger and we were all delighted with our choices. I cant remember the two names of the guys but thank you for your service and appreciated the entire experience. well worth a visit at an average of €30 per head including 2 drinks. would definetly eat there again

24/07/2026: We stopped here after our visit to Fota Wildlife Park and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I had the chicken skewer curry and it was absolutely incredible, genuinely one of the nicest meals I’ve had in a long time. I was enjoying it so much, but the portion size was really generous and I just couldn’t finish it. My partner and daughter happily finished the rest for me and they both absolutely loved it too! My partner also ordered the duck, which was gorgeous. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. For the kids, we ordered the chicken tenders and chips, which were exactly what you’d expect and went down well. My youngest chose the tomato pasta, but she’s an extremely fussy eater and only ended up eating the garlic bread and chips. We brought the pasta home and had it later ourselves, and it was absolutely delicious too. One thing worth mentioning is that the kitchen takes a short break from 5:00–5:30pm before the evening menu starts. Even though we arrived during that time, they very kindly offered to prepare the kids’ meals for us, which we really appreciated. Fantastic food, generous portions, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

27/07/2026: The castle and surrounding area are beautiful, and the nearby village has cute souvenir shops, cafés, and places to grab something to eat. It’s a charming little town with a great atmosphere and definitely worth a visit if you’re passing through.

18/07/2026: Im in my vacations visiting Kerry, and this is the best meal ever. I had Salmon was absolutely incredible—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff made me feel very welcome, and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend this place! 💙
