16/09/2026: We’re lucky to get a table here on our last night in Dublin and so happy we did - what a beautiful experience!

14/09/2026: We were in Dublin for vacation and found this place. We made a reservation and we should have had 20 euros as a prepayment for it per person, but we didn't so we paid the complette thing. We were very happy of this place. We had 2 alcohol free cocktails, that were very strong and delicious, you could taste everything in it. Then we go to the 3 course menu. What an amazing gastronomic experience, one can tell, why they got a Michelin star in 2022. My boyfriend, who is vegan, had the flammed chicory, the celeriac sausage and the green tea mousse. I, a non vegan/vegetarian, had the potato mousse, the king oyster mushroom and the apple strudel and we had our minds blown. It's a great place for special ocassions and it's very worth it. One of the waitresses was nicer than the other, but it doesn't mean they were rude. They explained our dishes and asked if we were happy about it and if we wished anything else. It was a great experience.

19/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent experience at Val's Bar & Bistro! Without a doubt, a restaurant worth visiting in Ballyhaunis. Very tasty food, well-prepared and with generous portions. Everything served with good presentation and that welcoming atmosphere typical of a good Irish pub. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive and professional staff, always available to help. The concern for providing a good experience to visitors is noticeable. The atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxed, perfect for a family meal or a meal with friends. It was a very positive experience and, without a doubt, a restaurant I recommend and will return to. 👌🇮🇪 5 stars without hesitation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

28/06/2026: Three of us had dinner here last night. The ambiance in the restaurant is welcomming and offers a great atmosphere with well decorated classic good quality furniture. However, the food were disapointing. The selection is very limited and for the price we paid, we expected better quality. Overall very overpriced.

04/09/2026: Really excellent food and superb service. Our waitress Roísín was extremely friendly and helpful. The quality of food here is sincerely impressive. I had the prawns to start which were devine and extremely tasty. I had the featherblade as my main. I wasn’t expecting it to be so satiating. The layers of flavour were something to behold. Will definitely be returning!

31/08/2026: Always really enjoy coming here with my kids. Just a small note, ye shouldn’t be running out of roast beef at 1:30pm on a Sunday lunch . Not the first time this has happened to us. Food in general is always top notch and great quality. Keep up the great work.

07/09/2026: Really great pub and eatery. Very warm welcome on entering The Tara from all members of staff. Very impressed by the decor too. Food was fantastic, I had chicken wings and a beef and Guinness pie. Portions were huge. Id recommend this place for either food and drinks.

22/08/2026: A fantastic pub with great staff . We recently had a small event here and where treated so well by everyone. The food was great the pints where aswell. This is a must visit if your in the area .

27/08/2026: The village behind the castle is very beautiful, offering a full immersion into the life of the inhabitants of that era. The castle itself is very interesting. The well-maintained outdoor spaces are child-friendly, with games and animals to see, including deer.

27/08/2026: I think it’s one of the best castles I’ve visited so far, and the village is charming as well. Whenever friends come to visit from abroad, I always take them here. Highly recommended!

12/09/2026: Fantastic spot in Lahinch. Food is great, atmosphere is friendly and casual. The real standout was the service. Everyone was so kind and helpful! They are super dog friendly and accommodating to families as well. An excellent spot if you’re visiting or a local. A great mix of families, surfers, visitors, and regulars. We’ll definitely go back! The avocado toast was spectacular.

10/09/2026: food was delicious.i got the big breakfast and my friend got the mini, we got toast and ate some but it was mouldy. staff fixed this immediately and gave us a free hot chocolate. otherwise it was amazing.
