Had Sunday dinner after Co final today. Top notch food . Smash burger and Prawn scampi. No great wait. Food presentation great. .

Very popular venue. We didn't eat but the food seemed in high demand. Good live music, bathrooms nicely presented. Bar staff were indifferent towards us, we felt our service wasn't needed or appreciated!

Great pub with a lively atmosphere, and a nice terrace. Food was good but not the best. However, the service was extremely slow and innatentive. We had to call the waiter at every stage of the dinner, otherwise nobody would come and we would wait a long time.

It's a very busy place and with good reason. Great food

Disappointed with the food as the place had such good reviews. I ordered the chicken satay salad which felt more like soup with the amount of dressing poured over it. The menu said the salad included sautéed potatoes and I counted 5 cubes of potato around my plate. Would have liked way more.

Great food location and service

I had delicious monkfish, my partner had the burger which was so substantial she couldn't finish! Got change out of €50. Lively inside and out. Polite friendly staff. Highly recommend A+

We visited The Local a couple of times while staying in Dungarvan, once for drinks where we chatted to the lovely landlord Donnachadh and listened to the wonderful trad music, and another visit where we had lunch. We ordered potatoes cooked every way imaginable (including a baby bowl which we had never heard of) we also ordered chicken and beef burgers, wraps, sandwiches, soups and the Buffalo Wings. All were delicious generous portions cooked to perfection! Would 100% recommend a lunch or dinner visit. Thank you for the fab food and beautifully decorated pub (the decor is a treat and worth a visit in itself).
