28/04/2026: Called last Saturday during the food festival. Had the Ken McGrath burger. Delicious and great value at E16. Great service and very helpful staff. Charged my phone at the bar no bother. We call now and again and always a pleasure.
26/04/2026: Nice bar right in the centre of the square with a great atmosphere. The food was very good and reasonably priced, especially for such a busy spot. It was quite lively when we visited, which added to the overall experience. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Dungarvan.

11/07/2026: Lovely food here. Had the fish and chips and it was plentiful and really tasty. Better half had the featherblade taco and the prawn tapa. Nice but the prawns were probably from Thailand or some far off place. Impossible to get good prawns anymore.
09/07/2026: My wife, 2 teenage kids, our 6yr old Matipoo and I recently had an evening meal here. We can only speak highly of this restaurant.
The food and top class and the staff were so friendly and accommodating.
It’s great to see a restaurant that is dog friendly.
Best time we’re in Dungarvan we’ll be sure to pay another visit.

15/06/2026: Myself and the wife popped in for our birthday dinner..never fails to disappoint...steak was fabulous...service fantastic...hats off to darren and all the staff as it was very busy...see ye all soon again.
14/06/2026: Don't order fish and chips unless you have low expectations. The chips are frozen. The fish is cut very thin. And it tastes very fishy. Disappointing. Award winning supposedly - that award is well in the past I think and now they're living off of their reputation.

25/04/2026: I've been to some of the nicest coffee spots around the country including Proper Order in Dublin and can honestly say I've had the nicest cup of coffee of my life so far here.
Whatever you're doing keep doing it, fantastic coffee.
26/03/2026: Really good spot. Pizzas, sandwiches and coffee are all as good as you’d get anywhere in Ireland. Lovely vibe in there also. Thoroughly recommend.

12/07/2026: If visiting Dungarvan I’d give the Merrys Gastro pub a miss
It was fairly grotty seats and tables were fairly dirty. We were left waiting an hour and a half for our food that was only average . Lots of fabulous restaurants and bars in Dungarvan to choose from but this was not
one of them!

23/07/2026: Superb food, friendly and helpful staff and a great setting next to the river area. Table was a little sticky but overall, loved it.
19/07/2026: We've been several times in Interlude and we've absolutely loved it every time!
We've stopped for lunch today and it didn't reached our expectations as before, we were waiting quite long for our food and the fish dishes were very small,but not cheap at all; my husband got hake and he was still hungry afterwards 🙈

Great food and drinks options.
Excellent service from well trained professional staff. Peter deserves special recognition from our group for great service and dedication.
This one is worth checking out for groups or any occasion.

The fish and chips were really nice. Very nice indeed.
I asked for crispy batter on my fresh cod and the lovely Italian lady serving me made sure that it was. It got very busy after I placed my order and the staff were super cool and friendly.
I'm only sorry I didn't take a photo of the meal as it was delicious.
I would highly recommend.
