12/03/2026: Delightful. Decent value for money, very nice place to sit, eat and talk and the staff were excellent. Shout out to Erin who was attentive but not intrusive, quick but not rushed. Everything you would want from a nice pleasant meal out.

02/09/2025: Had out family holiday here this summer. Staff were so friendly, lovely hotel and the food was excellent. Dined out in 3 other places too and the food was spectacular. Dungarvan is a lovely town and plenty to keep kids entertained from playground, to beaches, pools and Greenway.

29/07/2025: Far too expensive for what you get. Rooms are more like 3* standard, Wi-Fi is very poor, breakfast is "just okay," and the parking lot is usually overcrowded. The sauna is very small, at no more than 3 square meters.

01/02/2026: Will NEVER darken their doorway again! For years I've been going to the Interlude, meeting friends for cuppa scone and a chat. Today I went in there, on my own, looking for a scone and coffee, was asked if I had a reservation, in a sneery voice, when I said I hadn't, that was it......I wouldn't mind, hardly a table had a reservation, most tables were empty. It only takes less than15 mins to eat a scone and drink a coffee, when you are on your own. Thank God, there are so many more fantastic eateries in beautiful Dungarvan, that accept someone wanting to be there on there own. I never asked for my husband to die, we always went there together. Maybe it was because I use a walking stick? Goodbye Interlude and good riddance, I will never enter your doors again. One very disgruntled long time customer.

15/03/2026: Brought my partner in for lunch today... served almost straight away by a nice girl who was training a new young lad.. very pleasant.. got the sweet chilli flatbread 10/10 and herself got the breaded halloumi... Will be back again after our next next ardmore walk! Lovely place

15/02/2026: Breakfast food ok 5 of us in total had fill Breakfast hit or miss eyes undercooked on 2 undercooked on 1 . Tea toast arrived 5 mins before hot breakfast so toast then cold mushrooms arrived with a spice mixed in then horrible and rubbery liked canned or frozen rashers obviously batch cooked and kept warm some were browned some not.Place was very cold in there jackets had to be left on.
