Nice pub no food after 8.30pm bar staff not over friendly but ok Nothing special Guinness was ok

Cool pub and nice staff. Chips are really good. Veggie burger is a quite dry. Fish pie is huge and really good. Beetroot tortillas were unreal on sharing platter. I wish I got the Beetroot tortilla nachos.

A great pub with a great atmosphere. The food was really great, the Greek salad was impressive with its unreal size. Service took a little long, but if you are in a company, time can pass in communication.

So, we made reservations largely because we are traveling with our dog. They have indoor and out door friendly spaces… To this request we were put in an oversized area where our dog had plenty of under table space, our waitress Jess was charming and Emmaline - one of the owners - told us the story of the very regal looking dog (May) who’s portrait hung near our table. Sadly we didn’t get to meet May who was a local fixture, and Emmaline said she even lived above the pub for a while with her humans… We are huge fans of people who love dogs and the added bonus of the owners and staff at Merry’s is that the food/atmosphere and service are is excellent. I had the Coddle, my partner had a Caesar salad and we had a side of Chorizo potatoes.. Simple fare, extremely well presented, excellent flavors and great atmosphere… 100% loved, 100% wish we were closer than Galway. May raised an excellent team at Merry’s!

Had an absolutely lovely evening for a friend's birthday , friendly service amazing food served piping hot (a table of 10) the place was buzzing. Music as well.

Really nice vibe and play list in this pub. Didn't eat here but the food looked amazing.

Went on a Friday for lunch on our way to cobh. It was lovely, staff were great, reasonably priced, the food was gorgeous. We ordered toasties, they were the best ive ever had! We sat in the restaurant. Open fire, super cosy. Would recommend.

Great Dog Friendly Pub! Dogs welcome inside and the food and drinks were really well priced. Will definitely come back!
