02/09/2025: Had out family holiday here this summer. Staff were so friendly, lovely hotel and the food was excellent. Dined out in 3 other places too and the food was spectacular. Dungarvan is a lovely town and plenty to keep kids entertained from playground, to beaches, pools and Greenway.
29/07/2025: Far too expensive for what you get. Rooms are more like 3* standard, Wi-Fi is very poor, breakfast is "just okay," and the parking lot is usually overcrowded. The sauna is very small, at no more than 3 square meters.

07/09/2025: Excellent food and service. A great range of veggie, vegan and meaty dishes. The staff are always excellent. I go here regularly with work and being the kids at weekends.
22/08/2025: Excellent value breakfast, all locally sourced quality produce, all served with a cup of tea or coffee ☕️. Well worth a visit .

01/05/2025: Had a lovely evening at Minnies. The atmosphere was relaxed and just right for a chill Monday night. Shoutout to the barman holding it all together - friendly, quick, and knew what he was doing. I’ll definitely be back.
21/04/2025: Ye should be ashamed of the bouncers ye have employed. Blood cold sober and denied access for no reason and refused a explanation !!!!

14/09/2025: Just back from a lovely 2 night stay in the townhouse. The bedroom was lovely. The dinner was a really lovely treat, staff very nice and service was excellent. Breakfast was beautiful. Only 1 issue- you check in at the restaurant and the townhouse is accross the road from it. I think that might be useful to have on the website and also limited parking close to the townhouse. Dungarven a lovely place to visit with lots of pubs and great food choices. The tannery is very central. Visit Merrys & Nagles for drinks. Dun for pastries and Isabelles place for quirky shopping. All within a few mins walk of the tannery.
02/09/2025: Really fine dining experience! Went there for my birthday and everyone enjoyed the experience and having good food!
The best was the crab crème brûlée, it was chef’s kiss along with the desserts 🍨

07/08/2025: A real highlight at the start of our Ireland tour. We spent two wonderful evenings at John's pub, "Downey's." If you're looking for great live music (thanks to Joe Power and Mo O'Connor), friendly people, and good Guinness, Downey's is highly recommended.

20/08/2025: Busy bar established in 1825 and still going strong 200 years later. .Beer ,Stout, Ales wine and spirits available, plenty of outdoor seating with excellent harbour views.
15/08/2025: Nice bar in the centre of Dungarvan, called in and was greeted by a young lad called Robbie (I think) he was very friendly and good fun, a real asset to the bar.

05/09/2025: Ya, not my first choice to be honest as i find the chip to be somewhat cold at times but on the occasion i have to admit very hot both my wrap of the day and chips. The wrap was fresh and very tasty, and given the price its a lot cheaper than most shop deli. So yes I'd recommend it .
17/08/2025: Stopped Sat morning for breakfast for my son & myself in drive thru. I ordered bacon & cheese toastie with latte & my son got egg macmuffin with hash brown & juice, firstly the girl was unable to take my order so she got her co-worker to do it, got my food after waiting for over 20 minutes only to find they gave me black coffee & a cheese toastie not a bit of bacon in it.
