The best restaurants in Dungarvan

25/07/2024: I've been in for a sandwich and tea a few times lately. It's a wonderful cafe...such efficiency and the staff are always willing to engage with customers. It was always busy each time . My companions also said that they love the place and are always in. The girl cleaning up the tables spotted a customer leaving a bag behind and she was out straightaway to give it back to the customer. Then she cleared their very messy table very quickly with no bother at all. Such efficient service. I'll certainly be back.

08/10/2024: We booked a table for our dinner here recently and wasn't disappointed. The premises were clean and the staff were professional and friendly. The service was swift. We all had different dishes from starters through mains and dessert. The food was delicious. Would return.

17/07/2024: Good value chinese retstaurant , lovely views over Dungarvan Bay . Great choice of menu , good for families , great service . Clean and tidy throughout

15/09/2024: The cafe is filthy ........dirty tables.....food on the floor..the look of the cafe was of dirt and clutter....chunky space consuming seating.....complete disorganisation.

16/11/2024: I didn't eat anything after breakfast, as I was driving all day. I passed by this McDonald's and got 2 triple cheeseburgers. I got so sick that I didn't leave the toilet for half the night. What happened to your food? How can I sue you? This food service should be closed at least for inspection.

07/11/2024: They don't have milkshakes which really upset me

13/11/2024: So so unprofessional. Rang before 6pm and she put me on hold for 2 seconds. Was 4 mins and so I rang back and this time when she asked me to hold I explained that no I didn't have credit to do so. She went on and on about how busy they were and how many other people she needed to sort out. Unprofessional. Took my order anyway and because it was busy told me I would be waiting an hour. I laughed and said that's no problem I understand. 90 mins later, a full hour and a half I rang back. Rang 12 times in total before someone answered and when they did I explained I was still waiting only to be told that my food hadn't even left yet as she had another 10 or so deliveries before me. Being busy is understandable but the professional thing to do would be to call and let people know they are running behind or to give a realistic time over the phone so I can decide if I want to wait 2 hours for my food. I can't say what the food is like cos I was meant to be a new customer. Rang my usual place and had my food in 20 mins from there. Very disappointed overall. Left it at 2 stars as I can't judge the food as never tried it. Not sure I will bother trying again if they are this understaffed on a busy Wednesday

09/08/2024: Had the fish and chips very nice and its a big portion

08/12/2024: Bit pricy but ferry tasty and can do with a little bit more topings ,staff friendly and didn't wait long for my order

06/11/2024: Get order yesterday spend over €30. Got over 30 minutes late delivery with cold pizza. I call and spoke with manager, she didn't apologise at all for late delivery. Very disappointed customer. They should at least offer something extra, or give money back for bad service!

07/11/2024: Service and atmosphere was unfriendly, unwelcoming and rude. My meal was not cooked properly. Chips were half cooked.

18/08/2024: Food was good, as always. Quick friendly service.

02/12/2024: Very basic hotel but was very cheap 80 euro for a double room. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Bar is a bit slow on orders. Food was OK but probably in line with hotel level.

29/11/2024: Really comfortable family room. There was a problem with our reservation when we arrived, but the receptionist was so helpful in sorting it quickly. The breakfast was great, buffet for continental or ordering for the hot food. It was served very quickly. We felt the room was excellent value.
