06/09/2026: My first time trying And chips this evening and I will be never going back. My partner got the beef burger which had watery sauce running from the burger the bun was pure socking wet he didn't eat it. I got the chicken burger the minute I held it I felt cold I thought it was the paper around it, no when I opened it the chicken In side was stone cold. I was thinking it was very fast to get my order in under 10 minutes its like the food is already made sitting in side there just waiting for someone to order it. 100% could not have been made fresh. My partner went back in and gave the burger back and got a refund and when he went back in they took back the burger and put it back in to reheat it 🤮 not trowing it away, properly going to serve to someone else.

27/08/2026: Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and I’ve had quite a few. It’s a must try I will be back whenever I’m in the area. Sit on the dock by the water on a sunny day and it’s magic.

29/07/2026: Have been a customer for many many years . So disappointed the quality has droppped significantly of late .

23/07/2026: Superb food, friendly and helpful staff and a great setting next to the river area. Table was a little sticky but overall, loved it.

10/05/2026: Top quality service from the minute we arrived. We were walked to our comfortable room, treated to an excellent quality dinner with a good quality wine list and had a comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was much higher quality than we were expecting the next day. Maura is a star and made it such a pleasure to stay. Thanks for a lovely evening!

10/05/2026: We wanted to get to the Tannery before it closed at the end of this year. It didn't disappoint. Máire gave us a loveky welcome. The room was very comfortable. Dinner was really tasty. Great local ingredients, thoughtfully presented. We had an especially lovely glass of champagne as we were celebrating. The breakfast the next morning was especially delicious. Just sorry that we were too full to have the lemon drizzle cake we were tempted with for breakfast dessert. Definitely worth a trip. Look forward to seeing what they do next.

10/07/2026: Really liked this hotel. Food (breakfast and dinner) was very tasty with fast service. It has a nice bar. Bathroom was modern. Great tv in room.Big private hotel car park at the back. It's an old building so my one concern was there is no air con in the bedrooms and Ireland is in middle of heatwave so bedrooms were very hot at night. But in fairness this heat is extreme for Ireland!

07/06/2026: The fact that this hotel costs nearly 600 USD a night and has a similar quality to a Motel 6 in the united states is sad. When we arrived, the curtains had a stain on them, the toilet wasn't fully connected to the floor... towels were stained... food was subpar... missing parts in each meal... doors didn't lock or lacked locks in general...overall disappointing for the amount paid

06/08/2026: Quite busy cafe with expensive and so-so coffee. Cakes were decent.
