Superb food, friendly and helpful staff and a great setting next to the river area. Table was a little sticky but overall, loved it.

We've been several times in Interlude and we've absolutely loved it every time! We've stopped for lunch today and it didn't reached our expectations as before, we were waiting quite long for our food and the fish dishes were very small,but not cheap at all; my husband got hake and he was still hungry afterwards 🙈

Such a beautiful place! My favorite in a sunny day . Rich at the waterfront of the town . Lovely menu and food is so so good ! The staff is very friendly and did their best to please us !

First time here. Got smash burger and a beer. It was really good! Staff were very good also. Saw a few negative reviews. They had a very different experience to mine!

25/07/2026: Great fish and chip shop that does a variety of different take away option as well (including one veggie option that looked really tasty). We had a fish and chips (with Haddock) and a fish taco. The fish was really fresh and tasty, the chips were spot on. The service was really friendly, the atmosphere on a Saturday night was great - both inside and outside the chippie. Although it was really busy, we waited less than 10 minutes for the meal. Lovely location by the castle (by the side of the estuary) to enjoy the food too.
22/07/2026: Takeaway fish and chips with larger menu (other options including veg) but we always get the fish and chips and its fantastic, decently large portions, well managed counter, lovely staff.
