Seven of us had dinner together here and we all went for the specials. Good big portions of tasty food. No need for starters or dessert. Great service. Lively place. Buzzy atmosphere. Well run - very organized, attentive, efficient.

Stopped off her for something to eat. I had fish and chips. It wasn't good. All batter no fish and the chip were just average. Couldn't recommend.

We had a beautiful meal in the Moorings today. If I could write a poem about the 'braised beef' I would. Talk about melt in your mouth. Beautiful meal, lovely atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff.

28/04/2026: Cool pub and nice staff. Chips are really good. Veggie burger is a quite dry. Fish pie is huge and really good. Beetroot tortillas were unreal on sharing platter. I wish I got the Beetroot tortilla nachos.

04/05/2026: A gorgeous setting for a meal. The vibe was very cosy and comfortable and lovely decorations inside. Staff were excellent and extremely attentive. The Featherblade of beef was the star of the show for us! Would highly recommend.
