The Pepper Pot in Dublin

A very nice café on the gallery on the first floor. I had the best scone I've had in Ireland, even with clotted cream. Everything was freshly baked!

I lived in France for 5 years, and the croissants here at the Pepper Pot are right up there with the best I’ve ever eaten. I had a chat with the baker and she trained in Paris, so it’s probably not a surprise. Incredible, and a must eat.

My husband and I visited The Pepper Pot for an early Sunday breakfast while spending a long weekend in Dublin for my birthday, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Although it was fairly busy, the service was absolutely fantastic. The team were so welcoming and attentive, and the food and drinks arrived promptly. The café itself is beautifully situated in a charming historic building, making it such a lovely place to start the day. I ordered the French toast, which was absolutely delicious. I don’t normally choose a sweet breakfast, but I wanted to try something different, and I’m so glad I did—it was outstanding. My husband had the Turkish eggs, which were equally fantastic. In fact, this ended up being the best breakfast we had during our entire stay. We deliberately chose to skip breakfast at our hotel because we wanted to support local independent businesses and experience different cafés around Dublin. The Pepper Pot set the bar so high on our first morning that, if we’re honest, every breakfast we had afterwards was a little disappointing by comparison! We actually wished we’d come back every single day. A wonderful café with exceptional food, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in Dublin.

Nice in-mall cafe. Food was very good and we would return. The sandwich with pear was our favorite.

All round great with great service and food in a lively spot. My only feedback would be to put more than 2 small sausages on the 13 Euro Sandwich.
