Called in on a recommendation. We had really delicious food (falafel wrap + feta cheese salad). Both really fresh and tasty and portions left us too full for the delicious cakes and pastries. Great value for the quality.

Courtyard Cafe at Birr Castle

14/05/2026: Grounds are amazing!! Sadly you can’t go in the castle but it gives you more time to explore the gardens. It was amazing.
11/05/2026: No interior to view. Turned into cafe and souvenir shop. Most of outer walls are intact and several towers are in great condition. 120 acreage of gardens to view.
