Neary's in Dublin

Lovely pub, good pints, seafood chowder lacked seafood.

Nice pub, nice pint, some very lovely staff, some who couldn't care less

The staff a bit fussier than they used to be or need to be. Well trained but lacking in charm. I used to love this pub and have recommended it widely in the past but perhaps it’s better days are in the past.

We were somehow ignored. It took 20 minutes to get a menu, and the table wasn't cleaned despite our request...

Stopped in for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised at this classic yet cosy pub. The staff was super friendly and service was quick. We really enjoyed our meal.

A Dubliner recommended it to us after Bloomsday. It's an Irish pub, but frequented by locals. We had Irish food and beef. There were three of us.

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at this fantastic beer bar. The atmosphere is pure Dublin magic — warm, lively, with that perfect traditional Irish pub feel, great live music in the background, and a cozy vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. You really feel the spirit of the city here. The food was surprisingly excellent for a pub! Everything was fresh, hearty, and full of flavour. Generous portions and perfectly cooked. And the service was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. They were quick with recommendations on the beer selection (which is impressive!) and kept everything running smoothly even when the place got busy. If you’re looking for an authentic Dublin experience with great pints, food, and brilliant service, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit! ☘️🍺
