Pub grub leaning towards tourist trap. Food decent, does the job. Staff friendly. The view is the selling point and excellent place to sit out and enjoy a pint.

They serve a great fish & chips. You can choose regular or large. Served with a very tasty salad , mushy peas & a geat tartar sauce. Very tasty light battered cod. Exceptional views across the bay to County Clare. Outside seating area. Service was fast & pleasant. Ate at lunchtime.

Unfortunately, the food quality has declined. When we visited this place for the first time a couple of years ago, we really enjoyed it — everything was delicious and we were impressed. A month ago we came back hoping to relive those good experiences, but things have changed for the worse. All the food, even the fish and chips, was not tasty. I ordered a crab salad, but celery was added for some reason, which completely masked the taste of the crab. I also tried fish pie. I didn’t like the flavour at all — everything tasted overly greasy. My husband ordered simple fish and chips, and even that was disappointing. The only decent part was the chips. The fish itself was very fat.. The service was also very slow — we waited for more than half an hour for our food, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. It felt like we might have been forgotten. And all of this cost more than 75 euros for the two of us, and I honestly can’t think of anything I actually enjoyed apart from the beer. I really regret the money and time spent on this. Overall, we don’t feel like coming back again.

We spent a few nights at this B&B. We received a warm welcome and a table was immediately reserved for us. The staff were very attentive. Food and drinks were served quickly. The food was delicious. Breakfast was also really good with a good selection.

A beautiful, quaint, and authentic place. Everything was perfect, from the overnight stay, to the dinner (I recommend the aungus sandwich and excellently fried fish and chips), and the abundant breakfast (delicious both sweet and savory). Stunning view and outdoor space near the beach. Check-in is at the pub next door.

Do NOT pass this way without visiting. Great food, reasonably priced. Fantastic views. Friendly , welcoming staff.
