The Bridge Bar

03/08/2025: Dinner in the Bridge bar last night was a wonderful experience,friendlyl barman downstairs started us with a drink.We were then welcomed upstairs by very professional,interesting looking ,well informed,cool staff!My scallop starter was delicious,followed by prawn risotto,affogato and coffee.Food was very tasty,a rarity these days,reasonable priced for what we got.The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming,despite only being able to aquire an early booking,so myself and my 3 friends ate solo.I can't wait to return!!
01/08/2025: This place is absolutely wonderful! The bar downstairs is perfect for a pre- or post-dinner drink, and the restaurant itself has a fantastic atmosphere. The food is truly exceptional, definitely try the specials. Our server, Seamus, provided incredible and personal service and it's super clear that the team there are passionate about what they do. We will be back. ❤️
Tip: take the bus and enjoy your wine without worrying about driving. We took the bus from Rathmullan, and it was a great experience. The return fare is just €3! You can also catch the bus from Letterkenny, and the driver was super accommodating – he even dropped us off right at the top of our road.

21/08/2025: Ate here twice during our stay in Westport. Food was absolutely delicious and very well presented. Big thank you to Amber who looked after us both nights.
19/08/2025: We just had dinner this evening. Very reasonably priced. We had a ceaser salad and chips, a salmon dish and a Cajun pasta dish followed by berry and apple crumble with Bailey's and brown bread ice cream. The girls were all so lovely. Glad we booked a table because it was very busy. We will be back again soon. Thank you guys.

12/08/2025: This is an absolute gem. I used to go to Panem, up the street but this is objectively better. Atmosphere you won't find anywhere else. The Irish breakfast is probably the best I've had and I've had them all over. A really great good spot for Tourists and locals alike. Potato pancakes to die for. I will be back unquestionably.

01/08/2025: After two weeks in Co. Donegal this was by far the best food we have had all holiday. It is never easy catering for a vegetarian a carnivore and a pescatarian at any restaurant but it was no problem here and each noted how outstanding the food was. This is a first in over 25 years of travelling together. That says a lot

28/07/2025: Advertised vegan options clearly on their Facebook, the vegan all-day breakfast was one tomato, two pieces of toast (one of them burnt), quarter of a tin of baked beans and some mushrooms. Paying the price for a main dish that is the size of a starter and you could make at home in 5 minutes for less than €5. No-one came to check if everything was okay with our meals and then we had to ask them to clear our plates after we had finished because they took so long. The atmosphere was nothing special, the music was just the radio playing the same overplayed songs as always.

11/08/2025: We had our wedding at The Mills Inn in Ballyvourney and it was everything we hoped for. We wanted a celebration tailored to our own style, and the team made sure we got exactly that. The food was brilliant, the service faultless, and the decorations and flowers were top class. The atmosphere throughout the day was warm and welcoming.
We had several Irish music sessions in different parts of the premises — the layout of the place really lends itself to that, and it all felt so relaxed and natural. The accommodation was also very comfortable, and our guests were delighted.
Most importantly, we felt comfortable and supported every step of the way. We couldn’t recommend The Mills Inn highly enough.
07/08/2025: We love to stop here for lunch on the way to Killarney. Today just had a beautiful soup with brown bread at a very reasonable price. Staff were lovely and pleasant.

24/07/2025: Great place to explore the Dingle Peninsula.
Clean hostel with a shared kitchen.
The pub is right outside, and Sean and Fiona are very welcoming.
If you like, you can get breakfast from the pub instead of self-catering, but we didn't take advantage of that.
You can swim in the Atlantic Ocean in front of the pub (we saw several swimmers, even though the water was too cold for us).
Highly recommended.
23/07/2025: Nice pier side bar, good selection of food and beers.
Good service with nice seats outside.
Veggie soup was very good, decent fish and chips and a very good juicy burger.
Lovely spot with a nice hike on the doorstep and great beaches and pier.
