Canal Bank Cafe in Dublin

Canal Bank Café is a great place for a quick meal. The food is fresh, tasty, and served promptly, making it ideal if you're looking for something satisfying without a long wait. The staff are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, creating a relaxed atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The décor is simple and basic, but clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited to the café's casual style. If you're after good food, efficient service, and a pleasant experience, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. I'll happily return whenever I'm in the area.

Stopped by this very nice place just for coffee and had one of the best mochas. It was really good but most of all it had the perfect temperature 🌡️ and was able to drink it right away 😁 We sat outside but went inside for the order and payment and I really liked the atmosphere and from a few glimpses on the plates the food looked really good as well. The staff was very nice - I would like to get back and try some of their food as well

Great ambience, friendly service, vibrant salads, delicious entrees.

A great little restaurant, we had an evening meal on a warm Sunday night in June. Wasn't full but only a couple of tables empty. Would advise booking as others days we passed it was full. Lovely food, well presented, fresh and tasty. The staff were very attentive and efficient. Decent value and good portion size. Had some port as it was the last bit in the bottle was on the house.

This was, without a doubt, the best meal that I had while visiting Dublin. The hummus, goat cheese salad, and steak are wonderful.

Nice cafe next to the canal, no something special

Food here is lovely. I had the beef burger and it was one of the nicest I’ve had in a while. Was served with a spicy tomato sauce on the side that was amazing. Staff are very friendly. Prices are good too for Dublin. Will visit again.

I love how it feels like the restaurant is full of locals, it’s such a good sign when you can literally spot returning customers. The host- great at her job, staff are super friendly and our food was great. My only critique is- I feel as though the high volume of locals makes the service for new/less frequent customers too casual. For example our waitress kind of just came over and gave us a thumbs when checking on us. Which in theory is fine, and we didn’t mind, but perhaps could be an issue for other diners.

We had a lovely experience, we had a new staff waiting our table and she did great! Food was very good, we had the Guacamole (only thing that we wouldn't have again, quite tasteless, looked like it came out of a can) and the Hummus (gorgeous). Then the steak and Fish and chips for mains, both veery good. Ending up with the chocolate 'Budino', a smooth mousse that was the perfect way to end up the evening.

Had a post flight late lunch. Good salads - Caesar and Mexican. Large portion made with good taste. Well deserved visit if you're around
