Saddle Room in Dublin

Had a business lunch here a few months ago, great food with very professional service.

We dined here for NYE with a set menu. No real complaints with the food, but it was ridiculously expensive for what you got. My biggest complaint was the attitude we received from the sommelier after we declined the grossly expensive wine pairing with our meal.

Booked a private room in the Saddle Room for our post-wedding celebrations. The whole team looked after us very well in what is a stunning restaurant. The food was to a high standard. Limited selection of courses but expected at this time of year. Wine very nice. Highly recommended to all.

Dined here for my fiancee's birthday. Staff were incredibly professional and kind. They really made it an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious. It's one of the only times I've ever struggled to finish a meal because the portions were so generous and such incredible quality. One of my sincerest reviews of a restaurant is the restroom. I can honestly say the men's room was 10/10 !

Second Visit- Lived up to previous experiences. Went with family to celebrate a very special occasion. Exceptional service with delicious dishes from their Table D’Hote menu. This place is simply the best! Stunning restaurant. Beautifully appointed for both privacy, comfort and style. From the moment you arrive to warm welcomes from the staff to the moment you leave every facet of the service is exceptional and professional. Food was great value at €65 euros for three courses with optional extras also at a reasonable cost. Looking forward to returning here very soon.

The hotel is charming - the restaurant too? The food definitely: a small evening menu that is freshly and perfectly prepared. The light appetizer with salmon was wonderfully seasoned and simply delicious. And then the short ribs: tender and juicy, it couldn't be better. Small deductions in the ambience because I think it could be a little more chic. But it's a matter of taste. And the service was extremely friendly, but we didn't always get along linguistically. Instead of port wine with cheese, “mulled wine” was brought. Otherwise the wine selection was ok - just not 5 stars...

Recently went to celebrate my sisters graduation and the food was amazing, really reasonable for a 3 course meal, complimentary glass of wine when we went which was a great touch. The staff were extremely friendly, Yara, Jennifer, and Lorenzo. Very attentive but not over pushy. Food was presented really beautifully and really well cooked. Clean and presentable at all times! Highly recommend 🙌🏻🙌🏻

My husband and I celebrated our small wedding at the Saddle Room in the Shelbourne Hotel. Everything that day was absolutely perfect. I cannot thank enough, the staff, especially Candela, that supported me in organising the day, answering always kindly to all my emails. The food was excellent and we got compliment from everyone for the choice we made. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere at the Shelbourne is simply magical. Thanks to the Saddle Room and the Shelbourne Hotel for making our day so memorable.

Food was nice, place was nice but nothing too exciting for what was expected. It is a nice place but that is all.
