We tried the seafood paella, salmon, and calamari, and they were all delicious. The waitress was energetic, sweet, and respectful.

My wife and I ate here for lunch on a Sunday, within 30 minutes of them opening for the day. Tasty fish and chips, and the spicy prawn pil pil was amazing!!!

Had a lovely experience here. Went for a lunch before going for a walk on the Howth cliffs. Food was great, they have many gluten free options as well as vegan, and a great fish and chips; although they don’t assure the lack of cross contamination. They seem to have two separate fryers.
Best to reserve a table, since the place was packed thanks to a lovely weather.
Staff was the best here, the waitress told us to go to a great spot not many people know, we couldn’t make it but will surely go whenever we come back.

Great food, kind staff, fantastic location. On a day trip to Howth we stopped here for lunch and felt well cared for. Very cognizant of allergies and made accommodations! Not the best pint of Guinness we’ve had- but food was exceptional. We had the fish and chips & calamari; both were excellent!

Nice chill place, nice outdoors seating, seafood is delicious and fresh. My chowder, while delicious, took a lot of effort to fish out all the bits out of the excessive number of shells. My partners grilled fish was excellent - juicy and flavorful. The service was friendly but a little slow. Would be happy to come back here - thunbs up!

We couldn’t get into the Pier House so we went to the Brass Monkey and were so happy we did!!!!. The food was great. We had the French onion soup and prawn tacos & fries. Despite being busy the service was great and very friendly (unlike the Pier house) and the environment was very cozy.

Best restaurant we have eaten at in our week-long tour of Ireland. Incredibly friendly staff. Very knowledgeable and accommodating of my wife's need for GF due to Celiac. Fresh seafood. Loved the pitcher of freshmade sangria. Thoroughly enjoyed the dessert sampler plate!

We came to the Brass Monkey after our first restaurant selection was fully booked and we are so glad we did. The restaurant provides a gluten free menu and the servers were accommodating and double checked with the kitchen to make sure everything was safe for coeliac.
Standout was hands down the Dublin bay garlic prawns. So fresh and perfectly cooked! They are definitely worth the work and what a big portion we received! We soaked up all the extra garlic butter with the gluten free toast. Definitely recommend
