25/11/2025: Came in to eat for two different evenings during a short stay with my son. The food was simply wonderful, excellently cooked, and neither cooked to quickly or had us waiting hours. The staff were the best I've come across in a long time. Would recommend to anybody travelling to Westport.

05/11/2025: It’s the decent restaurant for seafood dishes with good quality of the ingredients. They are staffs providing the good service. The atmosphere is cozy and fine dining. It’s lovely place in Westport with a good spot.

21/10/2025: Absolutely incredible food, bags of flavour, really friendly staff, a must if you're in the area. I'd highly recommend the spatchcock chicken and seafood linguine. We were fortunate enough to get a table after a short wait with no booking, but it's popular, and I think we may have been lucky, so I'd recommend making a reservation if you're able to.

04/12/2025: The seafood chowder is great. Dinner in a bowel full of fish not filled with potatoes and a small bit of fish. Wash it down with a few Guinness and dinner is done.

26/11/2025: Lovely place to stop while on the Ring of Kerry. The potato cake was delicious, ribs were tasty, and portions large overall with a few unique beers to try. Highly worth the stop in.

20/10/2025: Staying over night in a nearby hotel and popped in for dinner. Mary our server was tremendous, she made us feel welcome which made the experience that much better. The food was also very good. Would definitely recommend!

30/08/2025: Incredible meal from start to finish. Our waiter Seamus was a remarkable host and did not disappoint with his recommendations. The duck liver parfait was decadent and the fish rillette was refreshing. The pigeon breast was tender and the beef cheek was so rich in flavour. When it came to dessert, we had trouble choosing what to try but through Seamus’s recommendation, we had gone with the vanilla ice cream with brownie chunks and salted caramel along with the burnt basque cheesecake and were delighted by both.

02/12/2025: I’m not joking when I say that this place is genuinely the best place for pub food in Ireland. We came down from Belfast for it and it did not disappoint!

20/11/2025: Do NOT order the fish and chips! Absolutely awful!!! It costs 20 euros, and only the chips were edible. The fish was incredibly oily and tasteless, and the fish itself was bland and unappetizing. This could easily be the worst fish and chips ever. I was so angry after eating it. I even peeled off the oily crust and ate only the tiny bit of fish inside, but it was still awful. How can they make it so bad? It's amazing! Fisherman’s pie is delicious! The potato pie sits on a bed of creamy seafood soup. The umami and creaminess are both fantastic! Highly recommended! The teriyaki chicken is also good. It's fried chicken served over a layer of spicy Chinese fried rice. The fried rice is very fragrant and delicious. Why is it that one restaurant can have such extreme flavors, with some items being incredibly delicious and others extremely bad?

05/11/2025: What a great spot - great food, decent portions, friendly helpful staff and really great vaue. Had dinner over weekend and really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Ballina

25/11/2025: Stopped in as a halfway point on a 4 hour journey for a stretch of the legs and a bite to eat. We were made feel welcome the minute we walked in. We didnt catch the barmaids name but she couldnt do enough for us. She noticed I was watching a game on my phone and put it straight on the tv for me,served up thr finest pint of guinness Ive had outside my local, told us where the bathrooms and smoking area were in case we needed them, and chatted in a friendly manner throughout. She's a credit to the place. A friendly "hello" from the local customers was also nice. Food was super tasty and came in hugely generous portions. Steak sandwich is beautiful! Pricing is fantastic value. Will return for sure

18/10/2025: Day 1 of our 2025 Irish getaway: we received a warm welcome. We ate very well, it was truly generous! €80, including four drinks. Perfect!!!

16/10/2025: Very friendly and welcoming pub on Dingle Bay The staff was lovely too 🐝

07/10/2025: Thomas is fantastic and we enjoyed swapping stories and hanging out for a pint. Definitely stop here. About as authentic of an Irish pub experience that you can get.

27/10/2025: We had a delicious meal at Lord Baker's! The proprietor was there and was so attentive along with the rest of his staff. We had an appetizer of Stuffed Mushrooms that we ended up ordering a second order of because they were so delicious. All of our food was well prepared, and they even put a little surprise on my dad's dessert for his birthday! We all tried each other's dishes and no one was disappointed!

19/09/2025: Delicious salmon dinner! The cheesecake was amazing! The staff were lovely!

07/12/2025: Dropped in for a few pints and a snack before catching the 220 back to our hotel. Great food cold beer.

26/11/2025: Asked for Irish Stew, got hard Microwaved potatoes in it, Sent it back and asked for stewed potatoes and was told they had none and couldn't make it for me. Asked to have the stew without the hard potatoes, but my mouth, bland and Microwaved. Told manager who denied the food was Microwaved. Total lie and will never eat there again, nor would I recommend it.

21/11/2025: We came across this spot on our trip to Glendalough with friends, and the full breakfast was truly excellent. The décor is beautiful, and all of our orders were perfectly delicious.
