24/04/2025: No reservations needed, as walk in's only. Place was full told to call bk in 10mins. We returned, absolutely 1st class food, super fast service & value for money. More of a pizza place, although has a great looking special board! Definitely worth a stop, in this heaven off a place, tgat is Skull

11/05/2025: Booked a 2 night stay at The Helm Apartments on booking.com. It was a great stay, well equipped apartment, less than 5 min drive to downtown Westport or 15-20 min walk. Upon arrival for check-in the staff helped us to our apartment, was very friendly and ensured we had everything before leaving (baby cot). The free breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Parking is just across the street and was only a couple euros for 24 hours. We also had dinner at TheHelm one night, big portions and good food, you must make reservations at it’s a very very busy pub. We will be back and will recommend TheHelm to others when visiting Westport.

14/05/2025: Fab place, and service. Popped in on the off chance they had a table and served food last week. Great service from the lovely staff, and the food was divine. Gorgeous fresh fish. We had the Fish goujans and Hake. And to our surprise the prices were so reasonable. We'll be back for sure, as the menu had a great selection. 😊

14/04/2025: Quería probar la sopa de mariscos mientras que en Kilkenny se recomendó comer aquí. El personal es muy amable y servicial. La comida era muy sabrosa y llena. Es un pequeño pub irlandés que es muy engañoso, ya que hay pequeñas habitaciones dentro para disfrutar de su comida y bebida. El Batman era muy amable y acogedor.

14/04/2025: Gran bar para una función familiar. Preciosa sala de actos íntima en la parte posterior para una reunión familiar. Celebró el 30 cumpleaños de su hijo allí el 12 de abril. Encantador ambiente relajado. Buena comida para los dedos, especialmente la bruschetta. El personal es absolutamente encantador. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Barra delantera un lugar encantador para una bebida también.

10/05/2025: We chose this place for a meal because it had positive reviews on Trip Advisor. Upon arrival there were no seats inside so we were asked to sit outside which was grand. The service wasn't as much outside so had to go back in to find someone to order. The food we ordered was amazing, the seafood chowder, chicken stir fry and steak were sublime and generous portions. Extra portion of chips was a total disappointment for almost 5 euro they were small slim not matching the great grub in anything (taste, looks, quality). We weren't rushed and took as much time as we needed. Couldn't find anyone to pay outside so went in to do so. Overall due to excellent food it was well worth it and would definitely eat there again.

04/05/2025: Very good pub restaurant with wide choice of dishes. The food was tasty and cooked to perfection. Fast and informal service. The beer choices are also good. All in a typically Irish venue. Advised!

16/05/2025: From start to finish, our stay was enchanting. A young and dynamic team with a smile accompanied us throughout. Add to this a delicious meal and spacious rooms. Not to mention the charming garden. A must-see for anyone visiting Killarney.

13/05/2025: Pretty nice hotel, with very friendly staff. They give you the feeling of "coming home". Excellent diner and breakfast restaurant. In front of the hotel a parking is available.

04/05/2025: The seafood pasta was one of the best fish dishes I've had. Pasta cooked to perfection w a delicious, well-balanced bouillabaisse style sauce. Very generous serving of seafood, including calamari, crab claws, mussels, and tempura baby squid, each element singing. A dish to savour. Enjoyed w a cracking 2022 Languedoc white. Excellent QPR. 03/05/2025: Super nice cafe with very tasty food! Had the Full imIrish and loved it! My friend had Egg Benedict which she said was fantastic. The staff was lovely and very attentive. The venue is so sweet and cosy. Excellent start into the morning. And the coffee.. 🦋❤️

19/05/2025: Really excellent food, service and atmosphere; it's rare that you can say all three things about a place - first time there and definitely a go- to in future, you know you're in good hands. Chef lets the ingredients shine and the service is warm, professional and unfussy. They were busy despite it being a Monday night and there was no fluster. I ordered the smoked salmon and crab starter because I love Clarks salmon but it was the chef's beautiful treatment of the crab that shone. I was with a difficult foodie crowd and everyone was more than happy. Sirloin steak, fish pie, duck two ways, sea bass, apple crumble and Eton mess all get a big thumbs up. It's clean, attractive, comfortable and welcoming inside, no waiting for anything, it's nice when the background sound isn't music but happy, relaxed customers talking and laughing. These guys know what they're doing
