Byrnes Restaurant in Ennistymon

Lovely location, dog friendly and great staff. The open terrace is a great spot for a bit of grub with views of the falls. Ordered the vegan dish and the toasted special, no long wait, food was delicious, staff were very attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area/ visiting the area.

We dined as group friends ..indoors as weather did not permit use of the amazing terrace sitting on the beautiful falls This was excellent dining experience ..every morsel was delicious , service was pleasant prompt and gracious . The ambience is particularly special and added to by a some quiet live music The starter of pork belly was cooked to perfection and likewise the aubergine starter Mains were totally memorable and served with good portions of perfectly cooked Mediterranean vegetables We shared a mouth watering tiramisu Do not miss this wonderful restaurant ..it is a total gem

Ordered seafood chowder to get literally 5 spoons of it, pretty much tasteless. Bread was hard and crumbling.

Food was fresh & creative. The host/waiter could not have been more accommodating.

The menu had very little to offer. Not much for lunch. A bit pricey. Home made is the selling point. Tasted good. Apart from no options, it's good. The best part was the river running through it.

Situated beside the falls with views down the river and of the falls itself from their terrace located at the back of the property. Also situated towards the back was a vintage shop. There was Fantastic atmosphere inside during the evening. Staff were friendly and inviting and the food was brilliant. One of the best restaurants in Ennistymon. Highly recommended.

We have eaten in Byrne’s many times over the past couple of months and each time it is a treat! Excellent service and a warm welcome every time from fear an tí, Conor. Steak, chicken special, an array of cocktails (espresso martinis especially 👌) & pints of Guinness have been our go-to choices. All round beautiful experience in a lovely restaurant with tables surrounded by all sorts of lovely antique trinkets and items and overlooking the cascades in Ennistymon. Highly recommend a visit to Byrne’s
