Pot Duggans in Ennistymon

We stopped by for dinner, unfortunately the menu only offered pizzas. The pizza was baked in a real oven, the dough was very light and airy. It could have been delicious, but unfortunately most of the bottom of my pizza was burned to charcoal. The worst part was that I found an inappropriate 5 cm chicken bone in my last slice of pizza. :(

Tried the Burrito along with Pear and Walnut salad. Fantastic!! Lots of local blue cheese in the salad which was perfect for two to share. Beef burrito and with salsa verde tasted great. Service by Jack was very attentive. Highly recommend this place

Casual atmosphere, picnic table vibe. And the FOOD was delicious!! We had the Birria Beef burrito and Pear and walnut salad. Such great value for price and portion. And the flavours in the burrito was fabulous! Definitely recommend.

The food was very good. However, the restaurant is not yet fully renovated.

Pizza was fresh and the crust was super tasty! We sat by the river so we basically served ourselves but the atmosphere was as really fun! By the river was pretty peaceful and around the bar area was a full blown party! Seems like a really popular spot for a good reason!

The place and atmosphere are perfect, but the service needs a bit of improvement. When I placed my order, I didn’t receive the two glasses of wine I expected to get when collecting the food. Since we wanted to sit outside by the river, we were given a device that would notify us when the order was ready. When I went to pick it up, I approached the area where I saw other devices and was told to wait a moment as the pizzas would be brought to us. After a few minutes, I approached a waitress again to ask, and only then did she go and bring our order - by that time, the pizzas were already a bit cold. Additionally, we had to ask for plates ourselves, as no one thought to offer them. I also had to follow up about the wine, which I never received 🙂 The whole experience felt a bit chaotic, and there’s definitely room for improvement. As for the pizza itself, the dough is excellent, but for some reason the pizza was very salty - it seemed like someone added too much salt. Overall, it’s a nice, atmospheric place. We’ll definitely come back to try more than just the pizza.

We chose Pot Duggans as our wedding venue as we wanted a more casual, cosy wedding that we could make our own. Jack, Ava and the team were so accommodating to our requests and it was a perfect day that really felt like us! I'd really recommend Pot Duggans for those who want to have a creative involvement in their own weddings, but with reliable great quality food and friendly, dependable service. We had so many compliments on the food! My only wish is that I could do it all again. :)
