Excellent!!!!!! We had five separate dishes, three starters and drinks. Everything was spectacular and prepared to perfection. Wonderful! Thank you!

As a welcome, we received warm service and genuine smiles, accompanied by a carafe of water with an orange slice, Guinness and whole-wheat bread with seeds, and salted butter. Then, our lunch began with a sweet Chardonnay to pair with a seafood platter, bursts of flavor that lingered on the palate. A small, crisp salad, perfectly balanced in flavor, capers with tender smoked salmon that delighted my taste buds, and truly delicious dried mackerel, all finished with a squeeze of lemon—I highly recommend it! Special mention for the Roche oyster; it's a shame there was only one. I was less impressed with the shrimp, which were blander than everything else. To finish, I savored a perfectly crisp crème brûlée (the inside was a little "cold," but I'm nitpicking) and a very good cappuccino. My stay got off to a wonderful start.

Not sure what else I can say. The food in the service was outstanding. My wife said those are the best scallops she’s ever had.

If you can’t keep a reservation, don’t let someone make it. I reserved for one at 7:00pm and when I arrived (early), they let me know that they had already sat someone in my spot. They left me waiting until 7:30 in their lounge, and throughout the meal they didn’t offer anything like a complimentary glass of wine or dessert to make up for the trouble. Stop wasting people’s time. Tomato soup was divine, mussels were just fine.

Delicious seafood. Attentive service. The seafood chowder was top notch, as was the seafood medley with toasted buttered bread appetizer. I can't wait to visit again.

Hidden gem in Galway, off the Main Street but excellent food. One of the best seafood chowders you’ll ever have. Service is friendly and attentive.

Lovely dining experience! Food was fantastic - one of the best spots in Galway. We had a seafood special appetizer (clams, mussels, crab, prawns) very fresh and delicious sauce. Didn’t get a photo of the lobster risotto with was also fantastic with lots of lobster pieces. I had the sea bass with potatoes and my husband had steak.

This place was fantastic. Intimate, delicious, friendly staff. The crem brûlée was so good, my party and I shared it and we wanted to order more. Really great place for our last night in Ireland dinner.

Absolutely incredible. Some of the best seafood we’ve ever had, every dish was next level. 🤍 We mentioned we were in Ireland celebrating our wedding and they surprised us with the most beautiful, tantalizing dessert. Such thoughtful hospitality and an unforgettable experience in Galway. Highly recommend.

Greens & Co

03/01/2026: Great vegan food served by very nice people.
30/12/2025: A very, very nice place. Great food. Great atmosphere with fairy lights and plants. The service was very friendly despite the large number of guests. It was really great. I think it would be better to have one more staff member during peak hours or when the city is busier.

Ruibin

17/05/2026: The food and service at Rúibin's Restaurant was absolutely lovely. The selection of food and wine was very good and everything tasted delicious.
13/05/2026: What a wonderful place. My wife wanted a dirty martini for her birthday before dinner, and we were recommended Rúibín. So glad we went. Jules seated us, and Richard made the best “dirty dingle” (dingle vodka dirty martini). We enjoyed it so much that we went back to the bar after dinner elsewhere to have espresso martinis and a cookie. Richard, Jules, and the whole gang are absolutely grand.
